People just hate this song, they did even when it first came out. And unfortunately there was no clear alternative among fans, it was all spread out among multiple songs.

Nah, given that the gap between Frans and Wiktoria was bigger than between Wiktoria and Samir&Viktor, Frans crushed everyone. That brings us to your main point - the international juries have a lot of power compared to the televoters. When the app wasn't yet invented (or functioning...), the differences in televotes were big enough to count. This year, the juries completely overpowered the televote, and it's more of a lucky coincidence than anything that their top two was somewhere close to the televoting top two. The same thing will continue next year, and if the jury results and televote results are really different, people may not be very happy with the app.

But it's not really logical that people are going to be angry at something they get to use to vote. It's an app for everybody, the only one you can blame is the voters, not the app. And like Christer Björkman once said, the televoters can come together in a way the juries can't. They can give an entry maximum of 132 points while the televoters can give, in theory, 473 points to one entry.

I think the juries are great, they can guarantee us from sending something that is shit instead of an entry that would truly shine (and it has happened many years: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)

Why do you care so much about odds? (not Frans ) was 1st in betting odds 2011, in 2014 and in 2010

What a mess this year is... bookies are insane or smth? Well, at least i'll have much fun watching this in May... Russia winning is annoying outcome but i hope this Eurovision will be even more unpredictable than in 2011.

The bookies are biased towards Sweden due to recent successes. Such a bias has a quite large impact on the odds when there are so many entries in total. Still the likelihood that Frans won't win is much higher than he will actually win

There's a reason for them being there, but as you said before, they'll pretty much decide the winner every year from now on as the app voting will inevitably be very close (I don't see televoters "coming together" when votes are far easier to spread out than before). That's getting a bit too powerful.

Remember Denmark 2014? Not even that was disqualified, and you could sing along the song it was copied from. So - for sure no disqualification either. Furthermore, that would already have happened in the weeks since the song was presented for the first time.

Super weird choice from Sweden. Pretty young boy waddling around the stage, mumbling out some terribly inflected words over a minimalist piece of pop. I don't get it. I do not have the same venom spilling from me as it seems a lot of you have for the song, but I don't like it. He's got potato mouth singer syndrome. That hot potato swirling around in his mouth as he's trying to sing. It doesn't make his vocals special or interesting. It just makes what would probably be an inoffensive little song somewhat annoying.
