Well, we pretty much knew this was going to happen, but... meh. While I was expecting it, I still don't understand exactly how this won. I get how people could like it, sure, but I'm just baffled by the crowd that sees this as a masterpiece, or a Eurovision winner, etc etc. It's a very average ballad, and 'it's nice' is about the best I could say about it. Apart from that, it feels rather generic and boring, despite Frans' obvious connection with the song. 5 points for now, and unfortunately my least favourite Swedish entry since... 2007, I think?

Why money when they are hosting? You just fix the vote ^^

What a bland song. It's listenable but it's just SO irrelevant and boring. I gave 1 point to some really bad songs, so I'll give this 3 points as a gift.

What I don't really understand is why is this such a favorite. :? Sweden seems to be the favorite by far to win once again () according to the odds and even though I listened the song only one time this smells to me as Top 15 at most. Wouldn't be surprised at all if this flops big time and ends in Bottom 5. I see that this could have a lot of fangirls but still I honestly can't see this getting any noticeable result at Eurovision.

Maybe the voting should be abandoned and then we let Sweden host every edition?

Finns should not even be offered to have a say in this respect, as they choose the worst option among masterpieces, almost every year. I still have not forgiven your country for the biggest mistake ever made 2 weeks ago. This is the 2nd instance this year that the televoters opt for the worst preferable song. (along with UMK)

We didn't choose Sandhja, the juries did. xsnooty Then again, our televote winner wouldn't have been better, either... At least Sweden got their selection right, so there's that.

Frans didn't win the jury vote and he didn't get a huge amount of points in the televote either.
I think it will stay like this in May.
Is there a pattern of Sweden trying hard twice in a row and not trying so hard after succeeding? xthink

The song is nice but that's it. I don't dislike it but it's not enough for my top 10.
The best thing about the winner is that his name is easy to type for international Eurovision fans. ;)
I give it 7 points.

Wait, the 0s in the poll are suddenly missing? I'm not a supporter of the whole 'spam 0 votes if your favourite didn't win' thing, but I'm even less in favour of censoring fan opinions to pretend everyone's happy, if that's what's happening... or is my page just screwing up?

Gabe I'd like to apply for the Butthurt of the Day Award because you know what? I'm butthurt as hell. Sweden were one of my favorite Eurovision countries just a few years ago, but now they've decided to thumb their nose at anything that made them interesting or compelling or admirable. I'm sick of this.

Hahahahahaha

I am very happy Ace Wilder got her bronze medal, in your face non-believers! (Not many here on this forum but irl)
I am excited the international juries, who we thought was gonna take it away from him, liked Frans song that much
I am glad Frans won. Not the best song tonight by far (about 7 songs I like more) but it's alright and listenable!
Who am I rooting for now? Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Malta, Iceland. In no way am I bitter or sad Frans won but he's just not up to their level.

We got a fabulous Eurovision ahead of us and you want to know what's interesting?! Frans didn't get that many televote points! Only 68! The international juries chose the winner this year and they probably will next year aswell! Great quality in this final, great night! I loved Lynda Woodruff and Jonas Gardell who both literally had me in tears and that isn't easy.
