As I can see for my country, it would be 8 medals clinched (total).....2 golds, 3 silvers, 3 bronzes...hm, not bad.

Now, who would reach gold? I am not sure, but most likely it would be:

1. Blanka Vlašić (you know the discipline, I won't repeat, lol)...but she had some surgery on her leg few days ago, will miss the indoor season, so I don't know how the situation will develop...although she announced a good season;

2. Handball team, men (MAYBE)...however it depends about their form, they showed a lot in the past European handball championship in Serbia, so....let's hope

Silver:

1. Rowers,
2. Cayak-canoists,
3. Gymnasts

Bronze:

1. Water-polo team, men (hm, hm, I am really suspicious, after this disaster in EWC in Eindhoven...9 th place only, yuck)
2. Shooting
3. Taekwandoe, women

But, as I said, it all remains to be seen!

Croatian water polo team will not be in olympic games :D. So they can't and will not take the bronze :).

I can't wait for olypmpic games to start tough... It's going to be insane :).

I will tell that in London I would like at least 1 golden medal and....6 or 7 medals for us in total. Not more than that, indeed! I am a modest man in any expectations. The Olympic games will obviously be the only sport event this year where we can expect and hope for some success and pride....because our sportsmen/sportswomen suck in almost all other "sport areas", that means disciplines and competitions...

I hope Poland will win more than 3 gold medals and more than 10 at all, wchich is more than we had in Beijing, but it can be really hard. My the biggest favorite to gold medal is Maja Włoszczowska, in her case, as for me, even bronze medal will be failure.

In mountain cycling, in Beijing she was second, year ago she won gold medal in world championship, this year she was second, but she lost only a few seconds with Canadians, I think she would win but her bicycle broke down on route.

The Olympic Rings have sailed down the River Thames in London to celebrate 150 days until the start of the Olympics, stopping outside some of the most prominent landmarks :D

So far, 43 croatian athletes fulfilled their qualification norms for the upcoming Olympic games. The last one, Sandra Perković, the european champion in discus throw (w) from EC in athletics in Barcelona 2010, did it few days ago.
