The hype has already reached unbearable levels, and there are still over 6 months to go! I think after Euro 2012 I'll just hibernate until after the Olympics are over and the British athletes buckle under the overwhelming pressure they are being put under. Should be an amusing sight.

I rarely watch the track and field stuff. Ever since I saw my first Olympics (Atlanta 96) I fell in love with Gymnastics. I always enjoy it. It's my main reason for watching the Olympics Personally though, I find the Winter Olympics much more enjoyable. Vancouver was amazing.

If we beat Tunisia in the Semi tommorow we will have Algeria or Egypt in the final.

If it us and Algeria in the final we are gonna humiliate them.

And about Serbia, both volleyball teams and male handball team are in competition for the games. Minimum 6 tennis players are sure in(Đoković, Tipsarević, Troicki, Zimonjić, Janković and Ivanović plus probably Bojana Jovanovski), plus a few more quotas in athletics, swimming, shooting, rowing and canoing.

The theme for the Olympic Games opening ceremony is 'Isles of Wonder'. The artistic director is Danny Boyle, director of 'Slumdog Millionaire'. He said it would be about a land that has been poisoned by industrial legacy and the recovery of that land and "we'll be celebrating the whole of the country... there are so many 'Isles of Wonder'".
It is anticipated the opening ceremony on 27 July will be watched by 1 billion TV viewers. There will be the largest ringing bell in Europe, which be placed at the end of the stadium and signal the start of the Games - it will be inscribed with Shakespeare's quote from 'The Tempest', "Be not afeard, the isle is full of noises". 900 school children from 18 primary and 7 secondary schools in east London will feature, as well as NHS nurses.
