So these are her own songs then I suppose?

The uptempo one kinda sucked, the other ones are so-so. I guess Israel is once again aiming to send a ballad... I'm not against the thought because I like Israeli ballads in general, but not really sure if it's the smartest thing and she certainly doesn't come across as the type of artist that would sen the "type" of uptempo song either that I'd like (and that would bring Israel to the final), so based on these few clips a ballad will probably be for the better then. With her voice I could see something odd like "Suus" or something powerful like Kaliopi's entry... but I would so wish for something with ethno elements... like a female-ish version of Israel 2008... actually it could be possible with this artist but not sure if that's her style of music to sing in the first place.

Somebody on Facebook said that since she hasn't done her national service (draft) she cannot represent Israel at eurovision. Not sure how much truth there is to that rumor.

For Mei to be able to represent Israel, she will need to get the consent of her record label and sign an official contract. This process is estimated to completed within the next few days and an official announcement will be made by the IBA.

Totally adore Mei Finegold, I think she is so so so great choice. I'm a big fan of her and really like her unique voice and the fact she can sing every song in her own way !
