I liked KDAM 2013, it was quite strong and modern for ESC standards, and many singers sang very god live..I hope they keep KDAM..

The Ultras - "Happy birthday" were GREAT! I wish to see them in ESC!

I loved winner - Moran Mazor, she wasn't that modern, but classical ballad, which is well written and crafted is always WELCOME and doesn't give bad reputation to this festival..

And only few months after KDAM, I concluded how quality actually was - Haya Samir - "Happy And Sad"..it was masterpiece...

I like Meital, but her Kdam entry missed a certain needed "oomph" ... and she needs to work on her live vocals!

In my point of view, problem is that opportunely songs don't win the national finals. In 2011, Israeli people send to Düsseldorf the Dana International. Song wasn't bad, but average. By me, better choice could be "Or" Chen Aharoni (4th place). That song probably would least advance to the final.
The same in 2013. They have good songs in NF, but choosed mediocre ballad. In my opinion, "We're beautiful" by Judah Gavra (also 4th place) had even potential to end contest in Final Top 10.

That's what happens when you have to deal with an old-fashioned broadcaster like IBA -.-


I'd love for channel 10 to broadcast and take over ESC one day, they seem less biased for their talents and they're obviously way more modern
