A witch is just someone that practices witchcraft (malicious or hostile magic) yes the stereotype and general perception of witches is overwhelmingly female but it's not exclusively a thing for women nor is it especially feminine in any way
No, sorry, you’re wrong. A witch has always been exclusivly female. It‘s a female archetype. (Look it up at C.G. Jung or any relevant research about litterary iconography). Just saying it isn‘t, is no argument. Male performers of witchcraft are called differently (sorcerer, wizzard, even witcher - clearly marked with the male r-morpheme to differenciate) and the forms of witchcraft performed by males also differ largely from the traditional female forms.
Prove me wrong on this, but I doubt you can.

There IS no way out of the dilemma Bambie created here.

I'm not joking, with Bambie I feel the winning vibes. I prefer her to Baby Lasagna. If Ireland won in Sweden it would be an immense pleasure xqueenbitch

In two years we will see the Melodifestivalen once again made up of 9000 acts with a winner already decided (perhaps a past winner or Cornelia) and a giant blender that will upset the running order.

same thing: how can a non -binary person be a queen? :ROFLMAO: Thanks for proving my point!!

Gay men can be queens, too though but yeah semantically, a queen and a witch are undoubtedly female connoted.

It wouldn't make sense to call Nemo "King of Eurovision" if they win on Saturday whilst using their chosen pronouns.

I just believe that non-binary can be fluid. Maybe that's why Bambje Thug can easily be both: non-binary an a witch.

sorry, doesn‘t convince me.
if a gay man is a queen, he plays with binarity, thus accepts that comcept for his gender role and just switches. If you identify as non binary, you cant introduce a binary notion to play with, because you would contradict yourself.
that‘s what I initially: there wouldn‘t be a problem if Bambie would identify as genderfluid. Bit that‘s not the case. non-binary and genderfluid are not the same. If they were, there wouldn‘t be two words created.

You see my point? Life would be soooooo much easier if we would not create this gazillion of labels. What‘s wrong with saying: I‘m a man / woman but my masculinity / femininity is not stereotypical.

btw that worked pretty well for decades.

Who is that sexy bald dancer of Ireland? Does anyone know his name and does he have insta? And please tell me he is gay? He is so masculine and would be happy to be his biatsch. Lol but those type of men cheat on every corner.

PS staging beautifully done. Absolutely staging elevated the song. Ireland and UK showed everyone how it is done. The song does not much for me though .

I love how excited the Irish fans are here and around the internet. After almost near straight disappointment this century you guys finally seem to be on course for a great result

Bambie has shared on Instagram that the EBU initially allowed Bambie to wear "ceasefire" after the Irish broadcaster and team pushed for it - but then changed their mind an hour before the show and said that Bambie couldn't perform if they wore "ceasefire".

I'm not a superstitious person but my laptop has frozen twice now while rewatching our performance this year and both times it's happened at the end during the screaming part.

That's just spooky.

Being non-binary doesn't necessarily mean Bambie or Nemo have to reject all things assigned female or male and have to present themselves as androgynous 100% of the time.
Is that so hard to get? You cannot say at the same time: I‘m neither man NOR woman (=NON-BINARY) and simultaniously: I‘m a woman (which is a BINARY notion) . It‘s not about certain „elements“.
It‘s like saying: I‘m gay but I’m exclusively attracted to women. LOL

I‘m defitely done here.

Bambie doesn't strike me as someone who would be that bothered by pronouns tbh
I'm pretty sure they referred to themselves as "she" or "her" in an interview/press conference that I saw just recently..
Has Bambie actually said which pronouns they actually prefer or if they care at all? Actually a question, not trying to be a smartass here..
