We can just hope that only the really hopeless ones have announced their participation so far but to be honest it´s getting increasingly harder for me to believe that. :(
I mean last year we had a couple acts we didn't have on our radar beforehand, so there's hope. And it's still early, this time vocalists could apply that don't have a song, those might be a surprise as well.

I mean I like that she's actually doing more of a pop-schlager and don't mind her voice, so if she has a banger song I could even be on board the Marie Reim train... but she has yet to release just one song that would fit what I would want from her. Everything she's done has been very mediocre. And I don't think she really has a lot of stage presence.

But I share the generally pessimistic mindset. I have SOME small hope that we will get a surprise like Frida Gold again, an established act that didn't announce their participation before the final lineup is announced. Cause everything I've seen so far has been really underwhelming.

Currently our best shot is Will Church, I think he could at least get some decent points from the jury.
I agree on everything. I don't mind any musician IF the song is a "banger" as you say! Also agree on Will Church - he is the only name so far that gives us some hope. He is a good live singer as we know, but "Hold on" was too mediocre. If he pops up with a real good song, I am on bord.

Will Church is boring as Hell and has 0 Personality and Career. He doesnt even have a Wiki Article or released a Single since the NF.

I dont want "at least some decent points from the jury"...I want us to send an Entry that wins both Jury and Televote (and combined Vote obviously), that wins every Forum Game, every Fanvoting, Press Poll and tops the Betting Odds the whole Season..
Is this too much Im asking for?

Virtual youtuber applied for ESC Takanashi Kiara:

For example:

No thanks, if you don´t have the guts to stand on the ESC stage than just leave it. The music isn´t my cup of tea either.

It is not my music either, but she has millions of clicks - and it may stand out at ESC as well. And she has Japanese roots just as myself, so I can't say no. ;)

Well, "Baby Shark" also has millions of clicks, that´s not a sign of quality and standing out doesn´t mean it´s in a positive way. ;)

Where do you see any optimism here?? We all know this is going to be another big piece of ****. :ROFLMAO:
That's what I wanted to say. Where is the optimism here? And even if there was one here, is it forbidden? I love those people coming here and trying to take us the joy away. *pfffffff*

That is exactly what i meant. German and British fans were a kin when it come to hope in Eurovision. Now we've had 1 great result we've allowed ourselves the luxury to live in delusion land for a few years. I know your pain

Well Germans and Brits are very similar in general, which I always find fascinating.
