Re: Creating new contest on the forum

And therefore Trece, daniels, and Hele are immediately banned from writing the rules xrofl3

IOTAP

Don't worry,I'm better in English than how I usually write here.I write very fast in 21st century because I want to announce results faster so I don't mind how sentences look like ( and I never use Translator, just for some unknown words)

For the rules you can use FSC rules as a template, changing points where necessary. I can write them if you want, I think my English is ok ;)

I agree that rules should be written by a native speaker. I think that there is no problem to find it
Yesterday I suggested the idea of the NF, but no one supported. While I continue to think that it would be great. I do not think that necessary private forums like in FSC

It would be great.
What we have to start:

1. Anyone can become a member of the jury in any country (one country at one time)
2. The minimum term of work in the jury - 3 months
3. Can be selected any song of this country, except for Eurovision
4. The minimum number of countries - 20
5. NF will be open (suggest creating international jury as well)
6. The winner will host next contest. If he refuses - hosting goes to runner-up

And I propose name of contest ForumVISION :D

Those rules are perfectly acceptable. However, I still don't think the NFs are necessary at this point :?

And I still suggest banning the newest songs (10s, at least). I really hope people will send older stuff, especially from the 80s and 90s

I think they're great ideas, I especially like the 3-month rule because it encourages some stability.
To rule 3, we should add a ban on JESC and ESC/JESC national final songs, too.
For rule 4, I don't think we should have a minimum number of countries, especially since we don't know how many people are interested in joining just yet.
And as for rule 5, I think NFs should be completely voluntary.

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

Basically the only thing which i find weird about these suggestions is the minimum number of countries being at 20. I find it generally to be unneeded as both nsc and fsc started with less than that (9 and 18)

Like the rules BUT something missing: song rules.

I suggest that we can send songs from 2005. and on. So, that they are not too old but still new. And some songs that were not have chance to go at FSC will can get its chance too.

I agree with rules except no.6 .

And about rule no.5 , I think that every country can decide if NF will be opened for all participants or not.

3) Why to ban National Final songs? I really would like to have them available here. :D
4) Ok. Still we need to decide what is limit when we start to have SF. I suggest when it is 27+ songs in final. Then we can have 17 or more songs in SF (10 qualify) and 10 best from last edition directly in the final. When it gets even more countries (32+) we can have 2 SFs with only winner from last edition directly qualifying for the final. ;)
5) It is ok to be voluntary so that every jury can decide about it. ;)

Re: Creating new contest on the forum

Listen people, I will only take part in this if we'll be able to send songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I won't agree to a 21st century rule ever!
