I love the idea But wouldn't it be better if juries weren't permanent? I mean we could participate for different countries in every edition. Or if you'd like, you can keep your country.

Yes, I mean this. If you want be in the Hungary jury - lets go, if Ukranian - too, if you want leave their country - great.

I do not see any reason that you could be in the USA jury

Now the main task to come up with the concept of competition, rules, as well as to collect the minimum number of participants (at least 20 countries to begin)

The only thing I would have made the restriction that you must be a member of the jury at least 3 (ot 6) times. What do you think? Otherwise we will have a mess every month.

I do not see any reason that you could be in the USA jury

Um... I love American music, and I know a lot about it. If we are able to switch juries, than I'd be in the USA one a lot.

No, if you become a member of the jury of the United States, you must "work out" at least 3 (or 6) months Otherwise you will be in USA jury in September, in Polish in October, in Ukranian in Nobember etc. - will be great mess every month

I'd join a new contest, but I think it should be a cross between FSC and NSC

In my opinion, there should be juries depending on where you're from, like in FSC, but with no time-period restrictions on the songs, allowing music videos, and semi-finals like in NSC.

I support your idea, but a word of warning: a brand new contest wont have immediate success, so your ideas of huge juries and all that wont come to fruition just yet (eg NSC took about a year to come to its 2 semi format, FSC took 3 years to come to the RoW decision) so if you small group of people decide to make one, you better be dedicated to it And if the contest becomes uberpopular like NSC and FSC, the mods will have to make tough decisions like the NSC and FSC mods do currently, or you can have a chaotic contest that pleases everyone but doesnt have a sense of community because so many people are leaving and joining. I'm not trying to put you off or anything though, and I do support this idea. One thing I will say though is DO NOT MAKE THIS NEW CONTEST NSC/FSC 2. A rip-off of NSC or FSC will never work because the original contest is so strong. I suggest you look at some of the contests they have on escforum .net and using one as the basis for your new contest. Good luck

I agree with every word, and as I said before - it cannot be a ripoff. We need some fresh stuff, and fresh rules.
The only rule I'd suggest - the songs we send should be from ANY time, not only new ones.

I totally agree with this.
I know for a fact that the competition should be based on the participation of countries
The main features: your rule, and rule about jury.
About semi is still too early to say
