So, what ? unfairness is bad, whether it goes in favour of you or not. TRT seems to be a justice fighter

And it's not our problem if the expatriates vote for us, that's not something we could prevent at all. TRT has very right to complain about fairness in this case. But it was none of TRT's business to take on the role of justice fighter replacing Italy. They are just playing to the crowd, nothing else.

Has anyone noticed TRT always had something to say about the contest rules itself every year (well, either they or IBA in Israel)? It's a shame since Turkey is one of my favorite ESC countries, so I'm hoping they will reconsider their decision.

no. they are against jury's voting. they want televoting back.

It's quite sad that Turkey won't participate next year although they almost always sent good songs and received a lot of points. On the other hand I quite like it that the ESC becomes a bit smaller. Anyway, let's hope that Turkey jumps on the wagon again in 2014.
