But there is no explain for not-broadcasting Eurovision, at least I couldn't find so far. If you have any Turkish news link about that, I can translate. But like I said, TRT is cool with that kissing according to their explanation.

Bilindiği üzere Türkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu (TRT), Avrupa Yayın Birliği’nin (EBU) düzenlemiş olduğu Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması’nın puanlama sistemine itiraz etmiş ve yaptığı itirazın kabul görmediğini anlayınca da 2013 Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması finallerine katılmama kararı almıştı.
Bu yüzden TRT Kurumu ilkelerinden taviz vermemek adına, 2013 Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması’nın finallerini yayınlamama kararı almıştır.
Önümüzdeki sene durum değerlendirmesi ayrıca yapılacaktır.
Kamuoyuna duyurulur.

My poor translation of the text:
As known, TRT had decided not to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, as our objection to the voting system was rejected.
Therefore, TRT, in order not to concede from its principals, took the decision of not broadcasting the finals of the contest.
The evaluation of the situation will be done next year.
For the information of the public

I don't even think TRT knows about the kiss, it's our media that exaggerated everything. :/
Even Azerbaijan didn't put any censorship, I guess.

If they wanted to reconsider they should broadcast at least the final this year. This way they won't be able to enter the contest again (unless the EBU allows an exception or reverts the rule again).

The reason is simply clear. Since Turkey is not competing this year, nobody would watch the show. So TRT did not want to put a show which does not have any rating in return. It's not about the kiss, Turkish TV channels have full of kisses and other stuff during even prime time in TV series.

These are nothing related with government. Turkey had the most successful and dareful results in ESC during the time of this government, in last 10 years. Also it was not about the government. And don't worry, next year Turkey will be in ESC again.
