I don't like it and i think the maximum it can reach is top 10!

Though I like it, I agree with you about second part of the sentence, I am almost 100% sure that this won't win, it is even questionable if it will be in top 10. Amir's and Alma's songs were more catchy and memorable, and they didn't do extremely well in public vote. Juries could place this high, but televote-no way, they won't even know what this song is about.

Maybe they try to show the meaning of the song via the staging?

It was really good, Amir came 9th, Alma 10th, but they need to come into the top 5 this year, and then they can win. But huge concurrence is already for top5 five televote, Israel, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Belgium, maybe Greece, I don't see France coming in top 5. I might be wrong, of course, this year is quite unpredictable and interesting.

(If anyone has posted this already I'm sorry for double posting)
The english version is actually quite good... I feel bad for thinking that because I love French and I want more own language songs in ESC, but I can't resist thinking about if it would help its chances of winning if they had a chorus in English or something...

I am interested in finding out how this will be staged given the fact there's no LEDs - if they're still going to be keeping the black costumes they need lighting that will really make them pop and stand out. The touches of red in their outfits (red shoes for both, red lips/nails for Émilie are a good start)

Speaking of costumes, French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier will be designing their stage outfits

Des longues ne sont pas importantes. Je ne parle pas Portuguese aussi. Et Salvador gagner en 2017

That's my reaction on the language problems here.

Though I don't really like the song.

I think the contrary. I think they will be much higher in televote than jury because they've only ended up 3rd at the french NF and they easily bet the fan favourite Lisandro with a huge televoting difference. I don't think people need to understand the meaning of the song to appreciate the song. Trust me the melody alone is enough for people to like and even adore the song. That's why they kept the song in French, because they received very positive feedback from people from all over the world saying that they loved the song without even understand the lyrics. Of course a positive feedback doesnt mean it ill do Top 3 or Top 5 at ESC but it proves that people can like the song only with the melody. With a good staging and emotion on their performance during the performance, it will not be a problem for them to grab televoters.
Overall, apart from a small minority criticizing the song for its theme, the vast majority enjoy the song without understanding the lyrics. So it's a false problem not to understand the lyrics.

I like it a lot and I don`t care if it ends 1st, 2nd, 7th or 17th. Thank you, France, for sending a song that actually has a message that should touch every person who has a soul.

Émilie is unfortunately under the weather and will not perform in Amsterdam with Jean-Karl today. The performance will be very interesting though, because SuRie from the UK will be singing it in her place

This is a huge letdown for me, as I was expecting her to come performing in Amsterdam and slaying everyone over there. However, I do believe that Emilie will nail it as usual afterwards. :)

Well that was awkward. SuRie's version was leagues better.

Not agree with lavieenrose too, not "better" just different, both are great, but Emilie's voice fit the song better.

And tonight was another proof that SuRie is a wasted talent, and need a better song.

I applaud SuRie for stepping in, she was great given the circumstances - she only learned the song in a day which is impressive. I'm sure Émilie will be better in time for next week's party in Madrid
