I don't want a nordic country to win so soon again, unless their names are Iceland, Scotland or Finland.

Scotland is Nordic?
Scotland is Nordic?
Poland was NOT just a gimmick entry, though it had some gimmicky feeling to it. I think that the song has a much deeper meaning to it than the lyrics and the performance had, it could have been political, it could have been cultural, it could even be both or none of these two. Even if I had problems liking it, I could see why people did enjoy it, it was fun and stood out enourmisly in this contest. Now the juries didn't like it either, while the viewers pretty much loved it, and that is the Eurovision, you never know what could happen, just better luck next time.
Now, I don't think Poland will win next year, but I do think it is time for an eastern european country. I picked Romania in the list above, I have a feeling they will have that song that could bring it to Bucharest soon. Other countries I have a feeling for is Armenia and Hungary, which I think could get their first very soon if they continue with what they had recently. If not an eastern would win this time (even if I am sure it have to be east now, otherwise it will look weird..), it could be UKs turn, or possibly a nordic country again, then Iceland or Norway are most likely. Will be interesting to see what happens in Vienna in may.
ESC 1967 in Vienna was won by the UK. So UK is the first favourite to win ESC 2015.
ESC 2001 in Copenhagen was won by Estonia, and ESC 2002 was won by Latvia.
According to the "-ia rule" of Copenhagen, there is reason to believe that Slovenia, which is also a neighbouring country to Austria, has the best chances to win.
Other than that, Serbia, Armenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Albania, Russia, Austrian again or someone from Scandinavia has a decent chance to win.
But ESC 2001 was held in Tallinn, a city beginning with a T, and passing the torch to a country beginning with an L.
The T to the L rule of Tallinn indicates, that a country beginning with an N will win, since V of Vienna is two letters apart from T, like N from L.
Countries with an N are: Netherlands and Norway.
AUUUSTRAALLIAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I already have a very strong feeling for UK to win. It's just like the universe (or rather the EBU) wants it to happen.
I also think that victories are not completely random.
Well, UK is only rich because of Scotland y'all.... so maybe Edinburgh 2016
seems overhyped IMO. There are around 40 countries to compete every year and the runner-up hardly every wins the next contest (that only happened in some early years). It's statistically more likely though that this year's winner is next year's runner-up.....
I think what also might help the UK next year is, that they really want to win it. Half of the countries seem not to eager to win this thing anymore, because of bad economics..... also the most recent winners, like Denmark, are happy not win too soon again.....
2015 already looks like "Tell me who you are"
Heel no?
That sounds like an insult to the Queen of Europe...
Yes I agree. The Netherlands is enjoying the best presented and sounding song post SF. I don't think it will win. But a top 5 would not surprise me at all.
What more can I say y'all?
