I feel like every song can qualify, except for San Marino
Tbh, I think San Marino has a higher chance than Portugal. San Marino hasn't done too bad with the juries and the team behind them is sorta known in the ESC world. xshrug Plus San Marino's song no matter if people say the song is bad, it's more memorable.
Aside from Portugal, Switzerland and Cyprus are also not memorable and do not have some starting votes to count on.

Interesting piece of work and it might just work out that way. I wish poor Ireland could get switched with somebody from the higher regions though. And Montenegro might also manage to sneak in the top 10, somehow the Balkan ballads always seem to and this is not a bad example of the genre. Malta and iceland could very well clear the way ;)

Thank you :) at least someone noticed that Ralph Siegel's last entries never have been close to the last place. No matter the quality of the song, I don't think "Chain of Light" is guaranteed to be dead last at all.

Quite certain qualifiers will be (based on "what you can currently read on the internet")

Slovenia
Norway
Sweden
Israel
Azerbaijan (not as sure as the other 4)

After that it's hard to predict without considering live performances. Personally I would add these five:
I see good chances for...

Ireland
Iceland

...but it will be a hard competition for...

Switzerland
Poland
Czech Republic

...and some others that are on the same quality level.
(Just my humble opinion.)

Israel is not a televoting favorite, and the judges won't like it either this year. The combination of those two things will lead to yet another early flight back to TLV. Well, at least we brought it to Europe this time instead of trying to do the opposite.

BEFORE REHEARSALS START: My predictions:

Safe. Should score well on televoting and jury voting
Azerbaijan
Sweden
Norway

Also in:
Slovenia - how far it will go is another story.
Switzerland - probably lots of support in the arena (then again, Sweden flopped in Norway), and juries could like this
Lithuania - cheery, different and one of the few uptempos and a televote friendly country
Iceland - good qualification rate, seems like a televote-friendly entry
Poland - good draw and diaspora + possible sympathy votes
Cyprus - darkhorse. Like in 2010, this could qualify at the expense of a favourite.
Czech Republic - if juries suck up to this, then it's in!

Missing out:

Israel
Latvia

Israel being one of the few uptempos and Latvia being different than the rest. Depends on the live performance but at the moment I'm predicting both to fail.

Malta (questionable vocals)
Portugal (probably finishing 11th somehow)
Montenegro (no support)
San Marino (song goes nowhere. Juries won't help then this time)
Ireland (decent song but won't stand out)

No way Poland is going to 0% with their last performance position
IMO Malta will fail 100% because the song isn't (1) radio friendly (2) jury friendly (3) Not even the fans seem to like it so much
The only appeal she has is her face + vocals, but that goes away when she starts the BREAK THROUGH part, where she impersons a goat screaming

Do you remember when we all thought Malta could win the contest? How times have changed...
