Norway will be noticed no matter what
Montenegro Balkan ballads always find a way

Cyprus Juries love this sort, mummies and grannies will give them extra help
Lithuania One kiss... and enough people won't let it miss
Iceland Never ending choruses and barefoot girls usually make it
Ireland Acquired taste, but if the juries don't help it through, I'll know for sure this contest doesn't need them.

Czech Republic I don't believe 3 duets can get through
Israel Half erased by Mans, killed off by juries
Malta Won't survive the fight with Latvia later in the draw
Switzerland It's been listened too many times before.
Poland Weak song, weaker vocals.
Portugal Nobody liked it up till now, nobody will.

This is exactly how I voted in this poll. However, I would not be surprised to see Malta, Poland or Lithuania squeeze in. I see no hope for Czech Republic, San Marino, Portugal or Switzerland.

I would personally prefer Malta over Cyprus, but all the millions of people that adored Take That or BSB back in the days will like Cyprus.

From what most people seemed to think about Cyprus I thought it was going to be dead in the water. (Not that I'm mad, I'd love to see Cyprus qualify)

It is time to make my final prediction before the jury final, 1st semi final I got 9/10, this semi is so much harder
So the finalists will be:
Lithuania: great opener, catchy, they always share the same fate with Estonia
Montenegro: underrated, Zeljkos ballads always do well
Norway: dark horse for the win
Czech Republic: great voices, fantastic chemistry
Israel: catchy, a crowd pleaser, if Serbia qualified, this will qualify
Latvia: amazing rehearsals, great voice, dark horse
Azerbaijan: This is Azerbaijan
Iceland: always find a way to qualify against the odds
Sweden: no explanation needed
Slovenia: a fan favourite

Non-finalists will be:
Ireland: will be forgotten
San Marino: cheesy, dated
Malta: just boring
Portugal: nothing happens in this song
Switzerland: great voice, but the song is bland
Cyprus: good rehearsal reviews, but the song is still a snoozefest
Poland: boring, sympathy votes may not be enough as we saw with Finland.

It's pretty damn hard to predict the outcome ... But my heart says:

Sweden: of course. Winning the semi and battling it with Russia on Saturday.
Norway: though somehow a small voice inside tells me this will miss out, but I ignored it
Poland: plum draw, juries will make ip for last year's crimes
Montenegro: nothing like it in this semifinal, and with no allies they did scrape through last year, so they should again!
Slovenia: not 100% sure, but a great draw and unique style should see it through
Azerbaijan: of course. Undeserved but what can I do?
Latvia: could do a 'Suus' but let's not go that far... juries should help this!
Cyprus: same with this one. Battling with Hungary and cancelling each other in the final.
Lithuania: they have a good qualification rate these days, and they have their allies in this semifinal + a catchy song!
Czech Republic: I'm sure juries rated this highly tonight for various reasons!

Missing out:

Israel: sounds like a televote hit & jury miss
Ireland: too early a starting position. Getting lost
Switzerland: not feeling this one. Can't see this standing out, particularly after Sweden
Portugal: avoiding last place but that's about it
Iceland: their first semifinal failure since 2007. Poor vocals all week long.
Malta: pretty much no one likes this and blew any chances with the jury rehearsal. Could well be last placed!
San Marino: or this one. Honestly, I can't see why people would vote for this dated crap...
