My opinion

:md: Won't qualify. The live performance at Eurovision in Concert was a big mess... I think that it won't be better at the semi-final
:am: Difficult... It is Denmark or it is Armenia who will qualify...
:be: Belgium will qualify. I have heard a good live performance on the radio. Beside that, the song is different in a good way
:nl: Will qualify. 'Normal' song, good live performance.
:fi: How sweet it might be, I don't think it will qualify.
:gr: Will qualify. It's Greece and the live performance was good
:ee: Estonia will qualify. Good song, some help from Belarus, Finland and Russia etc.
:mk: I think Macedonia will qualify. It is a good song, and at Eurovision in Concert the performance was good enough
:rs: Weak song... Won't qualify
:hu: Won't qualify. You will forget this song very soon.
:by: Belarus will qualify. The song is much better than Cheesecake from last year...
:ru: Will qualify. It's Russia and the song is ok.
:dk: This one is difficult... Or Denmark will qualify, or Armenia will qualify
:al: The song is very nice, but the live performance wasn't very good. Still, I think that it will qualify with a little help from Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.
:ro: I think that Romania will be the country that won't qualify, after being qualified for some years
:ge: Will qualify. Strong song, and also some help from Armenia and Russia

In conclusion, I think the following countries will qualify (in random order): :gr: :nl: :be: :ru: :mk: :al: :ee: :ge: :by: :dk: / :am:

I tallied up the points of 20 YouTube predictions (there are 20 countries voting in semi-final 1) and these were the results:

Final prediction before rehearsals..:

:am: :be: :nl: :ee: :hu: :ru: :dk: :al: :ge:

I'm gonna just be bold and say :hu: will qualify and :gr: and :ro: both won't.. ;P But eh, maybe that will change once we get a sense of how the performances will look. I'll make my last and final prediction right before Eurovision starts.

Yeah they will, but I hope they wont vote for it cause of "respect".
I understood why people voted for Conchita, the song was actually nice, but the Finnish song is a crime against music imo.
I am just so pissed off at Finns for choosing this thing.

I would be too, if any of the other songs in the NF would have been better.

But people can chillax. Juries will systematically bury Finland at the bottom of their lists. Finland has a shot at qualifying since they can't be ranked lower than 16th by the juries in the semi final. In a possible final, reaching 10 points would be a stretch.

At this point we can assume those qualifiers from semifinal 1 (based on "public opinion" around the internet and general criteria like "Russia always qualifies no matter what"):

Belgium
Estonia
Russia
Denmark (weakest of those 4 in my opinion)

Everything else seems hard to predict right now without having seen any rehearsals. Personally I would add those six:

Hungary (I know, Boggie has hardly a chance...:cry:)
Serbia
Georgia
Macedonia
Netherlands
Albania

But no matter who really qualifies in the end: I am quite sure that there will be surprises. We will have big eyes and open mouths and write here in the forum "WTF? XX is qualified and YY is out? This can't be true..."
...and the worst case would of course be Finland qualifying.

I don't think that many people are fans of the Danish song - Albania, Georgia and even Belarus have a higher chance of qualifying IMO.

Let's remember Cheesecake qualified. Belarus will knock Armenia or Georgia out.

I would not count Finland out 100 % since the juries can't rank them lower than 16th. 12th would be my guess.
