Our HoD seems to be doing a little NF tour. First he's in the Benidormfest jury, and now hes apparently at Sanremo. Then Olly ofc is our jury spokesperson in UMK. Not to dig too deep, but... 👀
He can tour wherever he likes. It won't change the fact a NF is a bad idea as Brits can't be trusted to vote on anything

I think if they give us a decent selection of songs from different genres, it could work. Most Brits aren’t arsed about pre selections and just watch Eurovision with a drink in hand and vote for Moldova

All songs in British NF were bottom 5 material or got butchered by dreadful live performances.

Let us not pull off a Katrina and pretend like "all songs could win Eurovision" when they had "5 points from Ireland and 1 points each from Malta and Australia at best" written all over them.

The snippet sounds promising, when is the release date?

It sounds very much like Army of Lovers did in the 90's in an updated costume.

Also, Olly Alexander sems like such a likeable dude.

I've had the snippet of Dizzy in my head all day and I've only seen the clip two times... Which can only be a good thing? I've been conditioned to not get too excited, as have all UK ESC fans. But, a seasoned young performer (the first since Lucy Jones) with a catchy song, could mean that we get at least a top 15 result?

May shock some to know Olly is just a year younger than Sam Ryder, so not quite as young as Lucie was when she performed, but I think he has better potential to get into the Top 10 with a stunning stage concept and performance.

Optimism only for me until 1st March at least

I feel like the song has many layers to it. They would not release a snippet of the song so early if it sounded the same throughout.

There’s also a reason we’re still 2nd in the odds despite some of the backlash the snippet has received… people in industry would have heard the song in full

The song may have layers to it, like an onion, but time will tell if it will have us crying or not. And for what reasons.
