There is some rumours circulating online because of pics hes posted of rehearsals and such that hint at him potentially performing at the Brit awards on the 2nd.
I’ve seen some pics - some stage directions and props have been labelled as ‘Years and Years’ which is either:

Recycled from the 2021 performance because it’s last minute
A clever ploy to try and hide it
Someone resurfacing an old performance and stirring the rumour mill pot

All will be forgiven if it’s Jane McDonald and the prop is a giant cruise ship

Yes. I'm sure the EBU will allow for some slight bending of the rules to allow Janes version of Jai Ho

Just think, in just four days we'll get to listen to a song that will either be really good or just rather mid but we'll pretend it isn't. Or three days if it gets leaked on a radio station the night before.

Really don't understand the logic of the promo tour as some sort of inherent good. Do people think Sam Ryder appearing on some talk shows and pre-parties changed anything at all in terms of outcome? Many examples, but only looking at last year Noa Kirel and Marco Mengoni say hi. If the artist thinks it's fun then sure go for it, but if not it's just seems like a waste of time and resources.

The snippet for this sounds pretty fantastic, several other songs I'm equally excited for coming up (:nl::gr::pt::rs:), but I think this might be able to sneak straight to my top five if the complete song is as good.

Nah, I think expectations are so high that this will be a disappointment for us, even if it's the best song in the word

More than likely. Just think back to the initial reaction from a lot of fans about Space Man. It got its fans eventually but quite a few people were unimpressed at first

Apparently it goes live on all streaming platforms at midnight on the 1st, so we should be able to hear it tomorrow night

Edit: and Olly will perform on the end of the show show for Ant & Decs Saturday Night Takeaway on the 9th.

So it’ll leak tomorrow at 11am when New Zealand get it?

Whilst I really appreciate the BBC not going the complete silence route this year, releasing a rather underwhelming snippet of the full chorus to our entry.. what was it, a month before the release date? Well, it's killed any hype I might have been able to muster. This tactic could have worked a couple of days before the release (if it was a good snippet). Hopefully we'll get a surprise but my expectations aren't very high.
