I feel like the song has many layers to it. They would not release a snippet of the song so early if it sounded the same throughout.

There’s also a reason we’re still 2nd in the odds despite some of the backlash the snippet has received… people in industry would have heard the song in full
British fans vote a lot for their song (even though they haven't heard it) and thus keep the odds low. Simple.

Until ALL songs for ESC are released, the bookies will not show the true state.

The same British fans that disregard the contest and call it cheesy? Which one is it

However, as the Brits say, "It's early days." You call finishing sixth in ESC 2002 a flop? I think that it is a respectable finish. Also, I think that "Dizzy" and "Gimme" are not that similar.

Having heard the snippet of "Dizzy," I have a few questions about the song. How does it begin? Where is it going? Will it have a key change toward the end of the song? Of course, I will have to wait until March 1 to find out the answers to these questions.
A song ending 6th 22 years ago doesn't scream success to me. Eurovision is a competition - it's not the taking part that counts.

The chorus is the main part of a song and the instrumental is very similar

Yeah, I'm starting to think "Dizzy" has layers to this song and just builds and builds. That short clip was just a taster, doesn't give us the whole picture. I hope I'm right.

Also I'm hoping the BBC and Olly Alexander will move away from thinking it's just a live performance of the song on stage, no, it needs to be a 3-minute show, it has to tell a story and have a drama about it.

It seems from his insta hes actually had a full on Interview with the Georgian Broadcaster 1tv - they posted on their own instagram. So not just a random meet up with Nutsa. I'm intrigued with the fact hes gone to Georgia of all places though.

It's where the music video was filmed apparently

Even more random. But loving that he's on the PR train already, let's do this Olly! Prove that Sam's strategy needs to be the way forward for our entries going forward.
Apparently the video for Sweet Talker was filmed in Romania - I guess they go with where suits it!

Yesssss get that promo!

100% agree-Sam was promo promo promo. Seems Olly is going the same way too which I'm thrilled about. The snippet is great and I can't wait to hear the full thing! Buzzing!

As quickly as Olly may have fallen a few spots, he could easily rise again after release. That’s how odds work - acts with releases, news etc will have shortening odds and than those who are waiting for their release like Olly will be floating a bit more

It's static because we don't have any more information on his song whereas other songs have been selected in the meantime.

When the song drops the odds will move quickly in one way or the other.

The odds are still relatively short because it is the UK which will attract a lot of money if it turns out we are sitting on a good song.

There is some rumours circulating online because of pics hes posted of rehearsals and such that hint at him potentially performing at the Brit awards on the 2nd.
