Come along peeps - we're gonna have to work hard to win the title of "most hyped" thread in this area of the forum now that we won't have the months of artist rumours, so (as much as I hate sharing their content) let's get into the specifics of that BG image of Olly Alexander social reel...

Starters for ten...

Oooh ok BBC!

Great choice, great personality, singing and dancing skills.
Not sure how known he is around the continent but hopefully he'll get full preview shows and exposure in the coming months.

Loved the prime time BBC1 reveal in DECEMBER! No more BBC Radio 2 reveals for us. Hopefully a sign of a strong year for the BBC to really push this well.

Hoping for a strong song though, if its generic forgettable pop that would be unfortunate, we have a chance for a real full on pop HIT - lets hope for the latter.

The UK in its Eurovision era xcheer

The right wing tabloid media are already going to be warming up the printers to drag Olly & the BBC through the mud like they tried to with Mae.

So the 'easter eggs' in the clip are

Presumably the song is called Night Calls
The number 26 - 26 songs in the final
25 - idk
LA - maybe where the video is filmed?? BBC budgets could never
The clock hands on Big Ben - Jan 4th release??

So out of the Big 5 we'll have France, the UK and inevitably Italy sending actually established names from their industries!

I don't know Olly or Years & Years too much to say anything. I just hope that Olly will send a song that I can support fullheartedly because it has been a while since I liked an UK entry. So I keep my fingers crossed!

He's not a famous name in Ukraine, but he's relatively known among gheys here.
I personally was more excited for Sam Ryder and I'm not impressed with Olly's live vocals.

It is definitely Rick Astley who is doing the New Year's Eve concert. Years & Years already did the concert on New Year's Eve 2021. in fact, a lot of people complained that Olly was too sexy for the New Year's Eve concert stage.

Just some delusional morons thinking they live in the United Kingdom of Sharia xhmmm

I don't get the hype. He has poor live vocals. Probably will flop hard 🤣😉
Lol. General public doesn't care about vocals. He won't finish lower than 5th place basing on big name alone and, hopefully, outstanding production. Watch Eurovision X account milking him for promo till his tits are super dry

Aww c'mon - let's come up with ridiculous long-winded assumptions that set ablaze X and get everyone convinced he'll be dressed as Big Ben singing a song about booty calling La La the Teletubby from a Routemaster bus!

In all seriousness I'm gonna need the song to be as provocative as "It's a Sin" (by the Pet Shop Boys / covered by Years & Years) was in highlighting the suppression LGBT (with major emphasis on the T) people feel in this country today under this socially fascist government - mirroring Thatcher in the 80s.
