As usual UK sucks!!! this is such a blend and boring song!!. Maybe UK should leave ESC as they leave everthing else.I wont mis them at all. The only comfort this year for UK is that France will end up last........... my points and now I am nice 5 points
UK you dont belong in the final

I think @Gera11 will like our entry this year xblush

I like it, it's decent. I mean I appreciate the authenticity and the progress BBC made in terms of production. For once it is not written only with "muh Eurovision vibes" in mind, which makes it less cringy. And there is no Lundvik evil tainting it. However, song-wise it's still nothing to write home about. I find it a bit forgettable too. Yes, a step forward compared to the recent years, but not a huge step. Perhaps the general public and the juries will appreciate it more than me in May. I mean, for some reason they hyped Austria 2018 and this is much better than that.

After reading your comments in this thread I feel sad I'm not hyped about your entry this year. Mona Trifu knows I want to root for UK every year (last time I was hyped about UK was in 2014)

:7: points for now. :D

You were supposed to give him 12, declaring My Last Breath the best soul folk-rock that you hadn't sent to our prestigious forum WorldVision song contest xexcuseme We picked this just for you..

But I will take that 7 with a grateful smile and agree with basically everything you've said xamandalearsmile

Doesn't set the world on fire but not bad at all. Starts with kind of a nice Southern Gothic documentary soundtrack vibe that quickly gives way to a very warm rest of song. I'm partially sold and honestly? I can already feel it growing even beyond "partially sold."

7 points.

What is happening @lavieenrose? Why are me and you enjoying a folk rock pop from the UK with woah oh ohs? I was pretty certain you wouldn't at all like it.

Me neither but I was charmed! He's I think a big part of it, which is strange given his fraternal elephant in the room.

RainyWoods nitpicking the German entry but forcing himself to like UK 😭

They both have my same score of 6 at the moment but everyone liking Germany whilst hating on my Benjamin back in 2018 is leaving me with a pain in my chest. I must fight for Benjamin until the day I die. The injustice he faced from fans was dreadful. And now Germany steals the music and neon lights that he invented. Much shameful behaviour.

Such devotion to Benjamin, you're a true hero I must respect that.

BUT sorry he's still second to last in my books (i actually forgot the worst entry of this whole decade : Belarus)

I was listening to bbc radio 1 this morning until the announcement, but i'm at my pc now so here's what i have to say:

-The amount of censorship of "naughty words" is too damn high. It makes every song unlistenable.
-I was hoping that Gary dude was a escunited member, was it really you, @theditz83 ??? :D
-That dude's grandma who changed her phone language to spanish because she thought that's how you're supposed to send a text to her son who was in Spain at the time is a LEGEND! :ROFLMAO:

Not my favorite, but UK already had worse entries... liking it more and more after listening to it few times. So 6 points from me so far.

Why the hell Morcambe?

I saw it first so I think I should pick, and I decide we're going to Grimsby xamandalearsmile We've got a lovely auditorium that can fit it all and plenty of parking.

Because it'd be really handy for the shops! Sure it only really has one large venue that is falling to pieces but at least then if it does collapse then whichever act it fall down on they can say that they were so good they brought the roof down!

Just got to listen to it again at home with proper speakers - my opinion has certainly strengthened. Will definitely be interesting to see how the performance/staging is...

Yeah but you get a shopping centre with half the shops closed, poverty and despair and best of all, Pizza here in Grimsby.
