Okay, so, it is worth baring in mind this """""might""""" not be the final version of this song; sure, I am certain that is is what the song is but this might be an earlier version of it (there is something about it that just feels 'off' to me, not in terms of the song in and of itself but something about the production that I can't quite put my fingers on) and it has changed and been altered since then.

Granted if that is the case it won't be drastically changed, its not going to become some big, powerful dance track or something like that but it might be different from what we hear tomorrow and, given that there always seems to be room for alterations between the announcement and the final itself there is still room for it to be altered in some way (See the weird seagull noise they added for the finals in Bigger than Us last year). Again, not in a radical way, but in ways to tweak it.

Now I am not saying this because I hate it and I feel that "Oh gosh, oh gosh, we need to fix it, WE NEED TO FIX IT!" because, in honesty (providing this is the song and not some other that they did that was submitted) I like it. Its not some grand contest winning track, but I feel with good staging and a good couple of performances this has room to do well.

My feelings in general are that, I am less worried about what happens this year as much as I am next year; love it or hate it this is a very solid song, and the BBC's collaboration with BMG is a solid foundation from which to build from for future years. My worry is that if this one doesn't do well (or well enough in the Beeb's eyes) and then next year we are back to a live national finals with acts that are bland and X Factor sounding.

I....quite like this! :D I was never expecting a contest winner, but this actually feels like a modern contemporary song from a British artist rather than a Swedish reject.

Apparently it's also being shown on Lorraine tomorrow morning, even though that's on ITV.

Yeah an interview and an 'exclusive' of some description. So likely an interview and some footage from the music video for the song.

There is nothing bad in Josh entry. It sounds like 80s top 10 song.

I dig it but it's not a banger which the UK needs. :7:

Y'all should've asked Divina De Campo to write something Red Bull-esque

Do Warner have anything to do with BMG?

The plot thickens

If this is it then it’s ok and so typically British. Already been said that it’s safe. UK is never safe and needs to be outstanding, so it might get as high as Suri but not much more. lets see what charisma he brings.

I quite like it. Not horrible, but I guess it could be more unique and powerful. Still it is a step up from what we normally send and sounds like something you *might* hear on the radio at least...

The only thing I can think of is the song is a Warner Media Group production/distribution and the writers are mainly from BMG (although one of the publishers are Black Butter Music a Sony Music subsidiary). But I'm not sure if that makes sense as BMG have their own labels to release the song on. So maybe it's not our song.

Its like I've been watching the masked singer for weeks trying to find clues and today with this song and now WMG have claimed copyright...

That's quite funny. She called for the UK to withdraw 9 months ago haha

Not to mention that absolute tragic piece she did with that Australian guy where they just ripped into the contest calling it tasteless and coming last is the best thing because it proves our song was good because all that lot in Europe don't know good music. xfacepalm
