Just seen the UK has gone up in the betting odds from 34th to 17th.
I dont know what that means, but that is a major indication that it could be a good song.
I wouldn't put too much faith in the betting odds at this point, we don't know who is representing a lot of nations at this point so the fact you have some nations being higher than others despite having put nothing forwards feels a little silly to me.
I am sure that if its a great song and/or act we'll go higher, but if its just your common or garden variety former X Factor act or act thats not been popular in a long time we'll drop like a rock.
I think radio breakfast shows are amongst the most listened to programs, so while I think it may be inconvenience for some I can see why the BBC have gone for this approach.

Well the show on Radio 2 starts at 9:30 and presented by the guy who is the commentator on that station when the Eurovision Song Contest is broadcast on it. So it makes sense that at least one of the two shows that are part of the reveal will have a history with the show even if it is just the presenter of it.I get that, but surely you'd aim for 8am or something closer to the standard commute time for the majority of the population? Or are they worried that people that don't work won't be up and listening at that time?
