No one is talking about the John Newman thing because he posted it like, an hour ago and that the initial rumour seemingly started on a reply to a tweet addressed to me which was only speculation. That's not be tooting my own horn here that is just me saying that the rumour just started on twitter due to some Eurovision journalists happening to follow him and given the number of similar rumours started like that I feel there is a little more scepticism there.
Thats not to say it might not be him though.
Also, if that is a clip of the music video for the act then, well, maybe they really are taking it seriously this year.
I mean, Rice's video looked like it was filmed on a mobile phone a couple days before it was released!

He is straight according to his twitter. Has some mental issues because he kept comparing himself with the big names in music industry.. I'm sorry, let him first take care of his health and then he can think about esc. He is not estetically pleasing at least for me. This might be another last place for them. I hope it's someone else.

I'm unsure as i never really paid attention to his music back then, and apparently his sound has changed a little. He eould certainly be a much more current choice compared to many of the BBCs previous picks.
