I don't think Scott and Mel are good enough to carry the final, even though I do prefer their commentary to Graham's. I think it is a job much suited to two people than a person alone. Sometimes one person talking for over 3 hours can be quite tiresome. I think Graham should stay, but he should be joined by somebody else - Alan Carr always seemed like a good option to me (if he likes Eurovision). I think him and Graham would make a great broadcast together.

At one time I would have loved the lovely Joan Rivers - she would have been PERFECT for it  But sadly she's no longer with us :(

I get the impression that Graham's commentary is holding the public's view on the contest back slightly. Mel and Scott make it feel less like a cheesy, campy and pretentious party and more like a fun, respectable music festival. I mean yes they do joke about it but it's all within the nature of the contest. They're actually funny. Mel has been an excellent addition to the 'Eurovish' team and it wouldn't surprise, nor disappoint, me if they did end up replacing Graham.

It does seem how odd that Mel and Scott seem to carry Eurovish now, for example in our new selection process (well, that was only Mel, but I assume Scott was busy), and do the two Semi Finals... then Graham gets the big show. I do think Graham often thinks about how Terry Wogan did about it, because in my opinion, his commentary was very pessimistic, sarcastic, cold and bitter - particularly his last few years. I think Graham has developed his own style the last couple of years... so we'll see today whether or not that is the case - Terry Wogan did die only a few months ago, so he'll obviously get a few mentions.

But yes, I would prefer Mel and Scott as well. They're much more fun and excitable which is what Eurovision should be. BBC love Graham Norton though, so no way will they ditch him. Graham would have to step down himself, which, I think is very unlikely. It's his for the foreseeable future.

MyHeartIsYours Alan Carr doing Eurovision would be absolutely hilarious. I would pay to hear that.

Take, for example, what Graham Norton said at the end of 2013 when Only Teardrops won. "I'm paying waiting time in a taxi, so if she could hurry up and song as quickly as possible, that'd be great."

It comments like that which annoy me slightly. They're not needed :(

Seriously? Mills was average this year, but Mel was utterly terrible. She isn't funny, has no idea what's going and can't even get the names right. She is totally disrespectful. Norton actually enjoys Eurovision and has an appreciation for it. I feel myself longing for Ana Matronic.

I'd like to see Graham having a side-kick/Statto/wiki-tator at his side and that should be Richard Osman who is a huge ESC fan, will give us ESC nerds the stats and historical info we love, and who is as funny as Graham is, but in a drier, more laconic style. Match made in heaven!

Eurovision SEX scandal:
Serbian act wants romp with Brit double act lad Joe

Single lad Joe Woolford is being stalked by Serbian singer Sanja Vucic.
She made a play for him at the opening ceremony in Stockholm and tried to get him back to her hotel room.
Even though Joe resisted her charms, she has continued to pursue him.

Eurovision officials and fellow acts have been shocked by Sanja’s antics.
An insider said: “Sanja has been all over Joe like a rash. She is obsessed with him.”

Meanwhile our boys are hoping they have been given a lucky omen ahead of tonight’s grand final.
They have been placed second from last in the running order – the same slot that UK winners Katrina and The Waves got in 1997.

   First Sergey and fetish porn photo leak, now this.

From the Daily Star? Don't believe it. She's probably said she finds him attractive or was just having banter with him or something, she seems like the banter type and they've twisted the story.

I want to see my country of residence in Top 10! I believe it's achievable because the boys are extremely charming xheart

I think Richard and Xander would be great semi-final commentators.

The UK features in a lot of the bottom 5 predictions... feels a tad harsh!

It's called going by past history and looking at the nation's flag instead of the actual song and act itself ;)

I think top 20 at worst should be achieved and I wouldn't be shocked if they managed to get close to the top 10 like Blue. Right now because I'm feeling good about the boys I'm predicting anywhere from 10-16.

The song has definitely been improved a lot since it was revealed a while back. It deserves to do well, best of those pre-qualified I think, and really decent pop.
