I've heard of Hurts, but Blue is definitely a better choice
I think there's a 2nd motive for the BBC picking blue, many of the former blue fans will now be around the late teens early 20s. They want viewers around this age (most likely because of BGT on ITV), also with 2010 being one of the lowest watched eurovision's ever they need a band with a well known name to get some people watching again. Blue seem perfect for that, I think with a good song we'll be in the top 10 again Hurts, although fits the bill for Eurovision, won't get the brits watching.
