Oh ffs, if Peter Andre does it I will hang myself... :|

Don't say that, as you said he's the kinda person that would do it. Especially since Defender, the lead single from his album, did only reach 14. For him that's bad :\ I hope it's not him. He's not that good live is he?

You can't hear him over the backing track when he's doing the live bits and the Chorus is the Studio track. Hmm :\

Then again i think even he is too established for the BBC we'll have a Joseph/Maria/Nancy/x-factor reject or a band member wanting to go solo :\

Peter Andre!? DO NOT WANT!
Although his lyrical genius exemplified in ‘awe’ inspiring songs such as Insania, is enough to bring tears to my eyes.

Cloning will diverse
Aging will reverse
Insanity is slowly, creeping into our lives, yeah
Where is yesterday? Cause people ain't the same
Have we lost the faith? Or have we lost our minds

Where are we going?
Does anyone care?
Hold on to real love
There's so much to share
Do do do do do
Do do do do do
Do do do do do
This Is Insania

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

It is such a shame that Eurovision is so unpopular here. We could have good national finals and send a good song every year. I blame Terry Wogan his (imo) very annoying commentary, the media for their bad attitude towards the contest and especially the BBC who hardly make any effort in the first place.

Unlike many others I would like to see unsigned/unknown talent (like an indie-rock band or something) take the challenge but I doubt that'll happen, the BBC haven't done an open call for songs in years and I doubt they will do anytime soon. Many known names don't want to do ESC, so give it to those who'll be willing.

I hope that sense has gone into the BBC's heads now, and whatever news they'll announce will be good.

The big BBC boss changed recently. Hopefully they have a better opinion on ESC than the previous one

I doubt the new boss at the BBC puts Eurovision as a priority though/even thinks about it

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

written on BBC eurovision page:

Our representive is - "A female singer with an AMAZING voice who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide" and it'll all be revealed on Tuesday. This is from someone who says they work for esctoday. They also added that it is not pixie, katherine or charlotte, not an xfactor winner or loser and is somebody who showed an interest in representing us a few years ago

sounds promising but also pretty unbelivable :\ susan boyle, kylie minogue, shirley bassey, rihanna, madonna are the style that have sold that many, really don't see this happening

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

Katie Melua was apparently willing to represent us last year with "The Flood" so she's probably quite likely :p

We can start off with 12 straight away then, thanks Georgia! xD

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

doubt it, although that would be a good choice. She's sold well over 30 million, especially with the Spice Girls.

Seriously, they chose that CRAP over brilliant Katie Melua?? If this is so, whoever responsible should be sued for blasphemy of Eurovision and for ridicule the whole UK!!
