Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

written on BBC eurovision page:

Our representive is - "A female singer with an AMAZING voice who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide" and it'll all be revealed on Tuesday. This is from someone who says they work for esctoday. They also added that it is not pixie, katherine or charlotte, not an xfactor winner or loser and is somebody who showed an interest in representing us a few years ago

HMMMM...

Don't know who that is but it's a great way to build up the excitement. Can't wait to find out who the UK will send to Duesseldorf

Fantastic. We'll be able to stop making wild guesses. I assume this means there'll be an advert for whatever it is on BBC1 tonight.

Our entrant is boyband Blue apparently
They are making a comeback this year as well so it adds up

Is this confirmed?

I kinda liked Blue actually, I think they were one of the better boybands, but I was hoping for Sugababes (who are also releasing new stuff this year) or Katie Melua.

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

A national newspaper found out and were going to run a story about it in the morning.
That is why the BBC is announcing it tonight.

Blue are our representatives by all accounts and various sources

^Not official. Some journalist has tweeted it, that's all.

My enthusiasm for the announcement has waned somewhat.

Hmm, interesting thanks for the info. They actually have good songs, one of the better boybands out there.

Let's hope you're right :)

Blue aren't a horrendous decision I don't think, if it's true and we have a decent song we could do alright, Lee can really sing so he could put in an impressive vocal to garner some votes. I'd also imagine alot of Europe will be aware who Blue are, they really were very successful in their era.
