He was 4th and eliminated in the semi final so he didn't even do as well as Andy Abraham

But "Even If" was beyond dated. If the BBC get a modern song (Big "IF") he could do well. But there is are other "exciting BBC projects" too ;) we'll have to see... two weeks is a while to wait tho

Two weeks makes me think that the 'exciting news' is that they havent found anybody and are searching round like crazy and will take anyone .

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

Thank you for all for your welcomes. :D

About the rumours, I think Charlotte Church would be good, some of the songs that were posted were nice, I liked "Back to Scratch". Not too sure about Katherine Jenkins, it will most likely be another of those grand ballads, we need to be doing something different. Pixie Lott doesn't sound very realistic.

I think Danyl Johnson would be a good choice, he may not be doing anything at the moment, but for sure people will remember who he is. He has a good voice, he's confident, I can imagine him singing R&B, Soul or singer songwriter kinda stuff.

But overall just something modern, fresh and good and a nice new selection process. I would really like something rockish, indie, acoustic or alternative for once, that's what I'm into and it's also what people expect from the UK. ;)

Nah it means that the NF is planned for mid-end of Feb and don't wanna release too early as ITV will schedule something to get all the viewers xD

Please not another X-Factor reject. Good thing about Charlotte Church is that she is original and will bring something different to the table.

Another rumour to LOL at:

escnation said:
Someone has posted on the escnation messageboards to say that Martine McCutcheon is representing us in Eurovision, with further details coming tomorrow. With a special show called Martine McCutcheon: Eurovision.
The 8 songs:
1. Could Have Been Forever
2. On the express
3. Rumours
4. Hold the torch
5. Streisand Got There First
6. Misty
7. London Nites
8. It's Never Him

These are probably just fake reports made up, but what would you think if its true?

Maybe it will be Joe McElderry... he's semi-famous and his career is going down the tubes really so it's possible!

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

Leona will NEVER do Eurovision. Its nothing to do with Simon liking or not liking the contest - sending a big star is seen as too big a risk for most artists.
That is why we end up with Poundland versions of everything each year.
