I actually don't think and hope that it will come last. Maybe 23rdish. Surely it'll beat the likes of Russia???

Whatever happens - Josh you're amazing!!
No, Russia is a joke entry. It's bad on purpose. It's meant to be humorous. "That Sounds Good to Me" is just so bad you laugh out loud at it... and not due to irony.

What?? Russia is a serious entry  Just because you maybe don't appreciate it's value as a song doesn't mean you can call it a joke. :?

But I agree that TSGTM is horrendous and will most likely bomb tonight, but the real loser will be Josh as he's worked so hard and he seems really excited about his chances :(

You do realize that the song is admittedly (admitted by the artists) a humorous entry, right? Listen to the lyrics, to the cheesiness, heck, to the fact that one of the band members asks the singer "What are you doing, man?" in the middle of the song. The singers later starts singing to a clearly badly drawn portrait of his beloved instead of a picture.

How can you not know it's a joke entry?

Yeah, it might be surprising, but since Estonia receives a Russian music channel (which I have occasionally watched because they play interesting western music there too) I know that they actually have these kind of songs. Of course they're probably intentionally humorous, but they're not specific joke entries like the Irish turkey was, for example.

The Russian entry is not a joke as such but it's meant to be intentionally ironic. I don't think people will 'get it' though.

I think most of the "funny" songs in ESC are.

He has worked much harder than Jade ever did last year

Disagree. I think Jade toured much more intensively to promote her song, gave many interviews on international TV and the likes, and that did a lot to boost the song's chances.

Maybe BBC put much more effort with her than with poor Josh...

Good luck the the U.K. and you really need it. Josh is a really nice guy but this is not what people will vote on tonight. The song is dull and just WTF???? Vocally he's been consistent but he lacks the stage presence a song needs to make people pick up their phone and vote for you.

My prediction: 21 - 25th place.

You'll never know, LOL. Almost every Lena fan is saying that people will vote for her because she seems likable and charismatic.

Of course you never know, that's the fun part about ESC, anything is possible. ( no pun intended).
The difference between Lena and Josh though is that from what I saw is that Lena can deliver that charisma and fun factors onstage while Josh comes across as nice and charming behind the scenes but slightly reserved and shy onstage.

But again, who knows???

Well, I personally don't like the UK song and I think most people just listen to it some time and then think that it's nothing new and forget it. I just remembered all the Lena comments and I thought it was funny. Of course, for starters he would need a more memorable song.

Ok, dead last again.
I had hoped for better for Josh, but the song however deserved to be last.

Agreed. Graham Norton was clutching at straws which was hilarious as well "please Armenia - give us points!". Our favourite bit was when Georgia (I think) got us into double Figures and then gave twelve to Belarus.

Poor, poor Josh.

However, I am pretty glad that this means the songwriter... what's his name...? Pete Waterflowerthingy...? Can go back to the eighties, never to reveal his obsolete music again!

Let's have a better writer next year: Mika, Elton or someone like that. Will be much more in tune with what is needed to win it.

The UK's problem is that they always send similar songs and artists to the contest, don't get much points, and then the next year they try it again with a similar act.

It's that simple: Even if I feel sorry for that bad result and the UK. The UK's song was boring, and the singer was plain.
