Re: UKRAINE 2019
She's a siren. You like it, you vote for her song and you lose moneys!
So Maruv is a snake?

In her instagram. She called the EBU's copyright demand "absurd".Where is the proof for this? Because in her instagram post there was nothing that specificly said that she didn't agree with that part. Yes, she confirmed that the reason for her decision was not about the concerts, but that doesn't automatically mean that she disagreed rest of the agreement - that part was just most talked about. What I read from her post and from other posts i've seen, it seems the biggest issue was for her the part about the press freedom (which would make her feel like a slave for the governement).
I really hope the Ukrainian broadcaster will release a statement, because all we have is Maruv's obvious breach of contract that she's making public and her whining about it, but would be interesting to hear the other side of the story as well. Kremlin trolls of course have a field fest with this and the whole thing seems pretty clumsy from the Ukrainian broadcaster, on the other hand like I wrote already all acts winning their selections sign contracts with their broadcasters, but this is the first time in ESC history that an act breached their contract and put it publically, to me Maruv's behavior is also very odd tbh and I'm not sure she's the victim in all of this. Would you all be ok with other countries' winners publically whining about their contracts? Most stuff that she presented in her contract is pretty common sense stuff and not political at all, it's almost like she is trying to make politics out of it herself. Sure we have the clumsy minister saying his opinion, but his opinion is his and those were not the points in the contract that she put publically. Bottom line I hope we get a statement asap from the Ukrainian broadcaster, there is something odd in this whole story.
Wait so we went 180 degrees now? This is all a big confusing mess.
Each side deserves a kick in the ass... except the televoters, cuz we have a hella good tasteWait...so we like her and hate STB or not anymore? I'm confused.

Except Eurovision is big here and in Russia. Now she's a "victim" and she can get even more money touring Russia. Not to mention that Vidbir was #1 news here for days (according to news sites stats), millions of views on Youtube so she can tour Ukraine and rise her price for concerts & corporate parties (like all of our Eurovision stars do). This story that Maruv did this intentionally for sake of getting attention and promote herself doesn't make sense to me. Sorry. This scandal is limited to Ukraine and ESC fans, nobody really cares about ESC preselections.
You, Romanians were nth comparing to this...lil babies..
How are you doing Mrm?
It seems we will get Freedom Jazz in the end..
Or they prepare us some Alyosha and some "Sweet people"!

This scandal is limited to Ukraine and ESC fans, nobody really cares about ESC preselections. Maruv would get much bigger and better promotion if she had gone to ESC in Tel Aviv. We all know that, so please, stop accusing this woman of some sort of nation-size scheme. This is ridiculous. Gurl got scr--d over and that's all. Enjoy, guys, debating, I am tuning out.
The bolded part is not entirely true. The New York Times and AP covered it, and I think Maruv was trending in France (maybe a different country). Not to mention all the coverage in Russia.
