:gr: Asteras Tripolis 2:0 :rs: Partizan

We were terrible on this match and it is good that we lost only with 2 goals of difference. Congratulations to Asteras, they were much better than us and they outplayed us.

We couldn't create a single chance on the match and there were many mistakes both in the pass and in the last line of the team. Asteras was tactically much better from the first minute, they controlled all the happenings on the field.

I am afraid we could be falling in our form, as the last 2 matches were not so great either. We must analyze everything that happened on this match and work to fix all the mistakes, because such a weak match in both the physical and psychological plan musn't happen again.

Addiction because the pain caused him to struggle to sleep, he got help and stopped taking the pills. If you search on the internet there is an article about it in the Danish press and UK press.

There was an in-depth interview on tv last night, where N.H. talked about the whole ordeal. He thought about committing suicide at one point, and I really commend him for being so open about it.

Glad to see he is doing so much better, these days.

Tried to watch it but it's not available in Sweden. Me too, seems like a proper modest and open guy. I don't think we'll ever see him outside of Denmark playing football again. Shame but glad he's living life now.

Poor Ibraimi, his penalty streak ended. :( Better with Maribor, than with Macedonia. Well Bayern and Shakhtar had quite a first half. The Germans remembered their semi-final against Brazil, clearly.

Total robbery at Gelsenkirchen last night.

1 offside goal + 1 "face on the ball" (the new 3rd hand, I suppose) penalty at the very last minute. Unacceptable at Champions League level.

Gut gemacht Schalke 04 xclap

I really thought Lovren had some odd few games at the beginning, but this is becoming painful to watch. :( He's been quite dire from a game to a game and today was no exception. Real is a great team and they are now in a high form (hitting 5s all the time), whereas Liverpool continuously struggles in the PL. So, at the end of the day 0:3 doesn't seem like a bad result!

Liverpool are going to get an even worse beating at the Bernabeu. And they way they are playing I still think Ludogorets or Basel can beat them to second in the group.

Unfortunately, he became again "the Lovren from Lyon" where he had a series of bad games and the journalist took him for assulting (eventhough Lyon is now much worse than 2010-2013). Well, it's time to Rodgers take a whip and starts punching Lovren and Ballotelli.

BTW. :hr: Rijeka - :nl: Feyenoord 3:1

Result :

Celtic :sc: 2-1:ro: Astra

Good result, terrible performance. But Celtic are top of the table and 4 points clear of 3rd place Dinamo Zagreb, so they look good for qualification.

Yeah, I forgot about Ballotelli. I think he is a spent player. While Torres and Owen had their shining moments in Liverpool (Xabi Alonso too), they never came out as great players in any other teams. We'll see about Suarez in mean time.. Ballotelli on the other hand is like Torres in Chelsea in a way.
On the other hand, Real Madrid brought James Rodriguez. I would want a player like that in Liverpool!!!

UEFA Europa League, Group stage:

:ro: Steaua Bucharest - Rio Ave :pt: 2 - 1
We played a great firts-half, but then we though it's over and relaxed. It's a good result, but Aalborg's victory against Dinamo Kiev makes this group very complicated.

:sc: Celtic - Astra Giurgiu :ro: 2 - 1
It's over for Astra! Now they should do their best to get more points in the group for the coefficient.

Rijeka did GREAT but Dinamo Zagreb was drowned in Salzburg by Red Bull 4 : 2:((((

Dinamo was lucky not to receive another 3 goals. I hope the Dinamo era in PHNL is over and that the Rijeka era is starting. xheya

Because of Mamić never. The only good thing is that because of those lousy foreign players they've released players like Tomečak and Kramarić, who are having a renaissance in Rijeka. Furthermore, it seemes that Atletico de Madrid, Inter from Milano and Milan showed interest in Kramarić. I'm hoping that Krama goes to Simeone's club because Serie A isn't good in these past years. Example - Kovačić who was praised from the rooftops (and they still do), and now plays as the wind blows. Too bad because he's a really good player.
BTW, on today's date 30 years ago Rijeka beated Real Madrid on Kantrida 3:1. Curiosity, the same result was yesterday's night against Feyenoord. xrofl2

If Astra could wait until after the return game to try and get those points, I'd be very grateful.

Rusescu is on fire. I wouldn't mind having him back in Portugal, this time on a full term transfer to my Sporting. It might just be a phase and he might be far off the most consistent striker in Europe but anything would be better than Freddy "Nullity" Montero :D We really need a 2nd striker.
But ofc this should only happen after Rusescu helps Steaua becoming Romanian champions.

And still on the aftermath of that Tuesday match that seemed more like a scene out of your average Serie A match: Gazprom is one of the sponsors of the Champions League + has been the sponsor of Schalke 04 for a while now + the referees from that match were Russian. Surely what happened was pure coincidence!

I have therefore decided to refer to that German team as Gazprom 04 from this day on. It's more fitting.
