"Congratulations" to Referee Dinamo Moskva xpuke

2 crystal clear goals for Omonia but none of them counted, and a clear double foul at the goalkeeper in 90+3 but the goal counted. Well done xup xpuke

And that in times, when corruption is omnipresent in football :mad:SOOC

I don't know what to think about Liverpool's group. xshrug I fear Basel more than Real Madrid tbh! While I think it will be a battle for first place between the two giants, between the L'pool Real games it would come to as whether Real with this team is capable to be a machine that will likely get 5 wins or a stretch of highly capable individuals with no defined team play that would cost them points. I think Real is the favourite for me, not just to win the group, but to win again the whole thing. Basel is for me the most undesirable team to play from the second pot (on the same level I guess with Dortmund). Ludogorets was great in UEFA league last season, so they will be trying to show some teeth, especially on their home matches.
BATE Borisov got lucky from the small pot 4 teams.

Oh and this is what Legia fans did on the match vs Aktobe:

UEFA Europa League, Play-Off:

:ro: Astra Giurgiu - Olympique Lyon :fr: 0 - 1 (2 - 2 agg., Astra Giurgiu qualified on away goals)
Amazing performance for Astra! They managed to stop a great record of European springs for Olympique Lyon.

:hr: Dinamo Zagreb - Petrolul Ploiesti :ro: 2 - 1 (5 - 2 agg.)
And with this, Petrolul ends it's European campaign!

:az: Neftchi Baku 1:2 :rs: Partizan

Euphoria is still on, but anyway, time to say something quickly about this match before the draw for the group stage starts :D

Deserved victory and qualification of Partizan to the Europa League. As I said, we will play on a victory in Baku as well........and it happened :D We didn't defend the result from the first leg, we wanted to win in Azerbaijan as well. We were better from the first minute until the last. There was only 1 critical period, and that is where we conceived a goal, but we manage to regain control of the happenings on the field as soon as Saša Ilić entered the game. I am proud of the whole team and everyone deserves only xbow

Also, thanks to the fans of Neftchi who motivated us even more by attacking our boss and throwing items at our players on the stadium during the training. That gave us even more motives and energy to achieve what we achieved yesterday, so thanks to them as well.

As for the group stage, I don't have special wishes. I want at least one attractive rival in the group like Tottenham, and also it would be nice if our brothers at PAOK Thesaloniki could join in the convo :D

If Celtic have a chance of getting out of the group they need to avoid Everton in pot 3, and avoid the likes of Sevilla, Tottenham or Inter in pot 1.

I would laugh so hard if Celtic and Legia were drawn against each other.

That would truly be hilarious

Could not have hand-picked a better draw. Great result for Celtic.

Great draw for Dinamo, I think they might just get that top 2 spot. ^^
As for Rijeka... :'D They're kinda f***** :'D But I'm pretty sure they can handle these. ^^

I'm not even concerned with Dinamo. More concerned with Astra after they beat Lyon.

Dinamo never lost to Maribor. xshrug

I have to assume that Celtic will improve or else they would probably come bottom of their group. I have full confidence that we'll see a different Celtic for these games. They have the players to beat at least 2 of these teams. Salzburg will be tight.

The group where we are placed looks like this:

:en: Tottenham Hotspur
:tr: Besiktas
:rs: Partizan
:gr: Asteras Tripolis

The group is very tough but I am glad that we have two attractive rivals in :tr: Besiktas and :en: Tottenham. I am especially happy that we have :en: Tottenham in our group, I wanted them and the one from the above fulfilled my wish :D

Those two teams are also the favorites of the group, but again, we will not surrender from the start. We will analye all 3 rivals in depth and prepare each match to get points, and we'll see how much will we get in the end.

Since, in the first round we are playing against :en: Tottenham already, I expect full stadium in Belgrade :D

UEFA Europa League:

Group J:
:ua: Dinamo Kiev
:ro: Steaua Bucharest
:pt: Rio Ave
:dk: Aalborg

It's a great group. We even have chances to win it, but if we underestimate our rivals we can end up not qualifying

Group D:
:at: Red Bull Salzburg
:sc: Celtic
:hr: Dinamo Zagreb
:ro: Astra Giurgiu

It's a tight group for Astra, but if they play like the 2nd half in Lyon they can make big trouble :D

Thanks :D Yes, those matches will be real spectacles.

This group could, without any problem, be a group in the Champions League group stage as well, as all 4 teams have great quality.

Btw, I personally think that :tr: Besiktas is the favorite of this group, even though :en: Tottenham is a bigger name. But the English teams, just like the Italian teams often send reserve squads or mixed teams and then it is known for them to lose points against smaller teams.

This team of :en: Tottenham, however, has quite a deep roster, so it is a question how much their second team is really weaker than the first one, but anyway, I think they are more focused on the Premier League, and Besiktas will certainly aim to end as high as possible in this competition. Plus, it is a fantastic team, which was seen now against :en: Arsenal as well.

So, I think we will have more problems with :tr: Besiktas than :en: Tottenham.

I assume you gave Celtic the Slovenian flag as a piss-take for their defeat to Maribor?

It may not seem like much, but one point in CL for Maribor is more than quarterfinal for Real Madrid xyes
