The CL draw was like a Deja-vu of the last years draw

Bayern faces Man City and CSKA
Schalke faces Chelsea
Dortmund faces Arsenal (third time in four years...)

Due to all these restriction UEFA implemented there are so many similarities in the composition of the groups. It gets boring :?

Edit: I always get jealous when I read you all writing about the matches your teams are involved in EL and CL. I miss the old times when Werder played CL like every year :D

I hope that Dinamo and Split will also enter EL, so Kovačević can rip all his hair because he can't emit only Dinamo's games! Stupid *******...

Awww sad for Hajduk, would prefer them to be in EL over Dinamo anytime despite being from Zagreb. :(

Well, this Dinamo's "team" isn't near the toe of the generation with Modrić, Mandžukić, Dudu and Ćorluka. It's quite sad what Mamić has done to Dinamo.

If Katanec doesn't do well,we want him back. But so far,he's been doing a great job,so you can have him for a few years:D

I like how he's not relying on younger talents anymore as much. They have some pretty good foreign players. ^^

Who said we want to return him? :p Also, in a index.hr survey about Croatia's next selector he won, so I wouldn't be suprised if he will guide Modrić&co. in two years. :D

Two huge victories today:

:it: Inter - Stjarnan :is: 6:0 :(

:de: Borussia Mönchengladbach - FK Sarajevo :ba: 7:0

I'm sad for Stjarnan but Inter is simply out of their league. It's like a grizzly bear fighting against a kitten.
Nevertheless they can be proud, fantastic season for them. First time they participate on international stage. Reaching the last qualifying round, eliminating Motherwell and Lech Posen. Massive success for icelandic football

Mönchengladbach was efficient as hell today... Sarajevo is a decent team, they proved it in the first leg, in which they were superior to M'Gladbach and were unlucky. But today there was visible a class difference between these two teams.
Since German teams has been successless in the Europe League since 2010, I hope Mönchengladbach can reach the semi final or maybe even win the cup.

just a friendly warning: he's extremely patient when it comes to "the change of generation"
He more or less insisted with the same 11 players on the pitch even though some guys weren't in a top form. I'm sure he would eventually change that, but slovenians were too impatient... :)

:pl: Legia Warsaw - :kz: FK Aktobe 2-0
Legia's players were playing slow and imprecisely in last 20 minutes, but overall it was good game and we have a team in the UEFA Europa League's group stage. Congratulations Legia xup

I agree, some of referee's decisions were weird. Very pity, it had a influence on match's final result.
Anyway, this is a seeding for group stage's draw, at 12:00 CET

Pot 2 - :ro: Steaua București, :be: Standard Liège, :gr: PAOK FC, :sc: Celtic F.C., :tr: Beşiktaş J.K., :de: VfL Wolfsburg, :be: Club Brugge, :ua: Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, :tr: Trabzonspor A.Ş., :gr: Panathinaikos F.C., :cz: Sparta Prague, :de: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Pot 3 - :en: Everton F.C., :ch: Young Boys, :hr: Dinamo Zagreb, :ch: FC Zürich, :pt: Estoril Praia, :pl: Legia Warsaw, :rs: FK Partizan, :it: Torino F.C., :nl: Feyenoord Rotterdam, :fr: EA Guingamp, :fr: Saint-Étienne, :pt: Rio Ave

Europa League Playoff

:pt: Nacional 2-3 (2-5) Dinamo Minsk :by:

Nacional's terrible start of a season continues. They played pretty bad and they had their 4th defeat in 4 games.

:pt: Rio Ave 1-0 (2-2) Elfsborg :se:

And Rio Ave will debut in a group stage this year! They completely dominated the game from start to finish and had many opportynities, even though Elfsborg also had a very good one in a free kick where the ball went to the bar. The goal was only scored on the 92nd minute but Rio Ave did deserve to be winning by more than just 1-0 by then.

So on the group stage Portugal will have Estoril, who have had a bad start on the Primeira Liga, and Rio Ave, along with Benfica, Sporting and Porto on the CL.

If Celtic have a chance of getting out of the group they need to avoid Everton in pot 3, and avoid the likes of Sevilla, Tottenham or Inter in pot 1.

I would laugh so hard if Celtic and Legia were drawn against each other.

Yeah, I know, we had the same situation when he was putting Benko in the team when he couldn't even run, but we was scoring and scoring is a dut to the attackers. As from the rest, what they were complaining!? It isn't so easy to make the change of a generation. Even now Kovač invited some kids for Cyprus and Malta, just to see how will they fit. But, it's the mistake of the resident of Slovenian football association.
