Congrats neighbors! xcheer

As from my favourites, Bayern won 1:0 against ManCity. OK, they have won, but WTF is Lewandowski doing in the field?? Luckily he came free, but Bayern got rid of Mandžo because of that flopper! 5 years? Well hell yeah, he'll be lucky if he stays 2 years, better of him (Olić and Mandžo) stayed that long.

Guardiola, LEAVE!

So, today:

:rs: Partizan - :en: Tottenham

First match in the Europa League and the hardest possible rival. Still, it is the most attractive rival, and I am sure it will be a match to enjoy.

Even though we have some problems with injuries lately, Partizan will definetly play on the victory, and we will see how much we are going to get. It is not smart to expect a lot against one of the best teams of Premier League, but we will not surrender. Good thing is that they will not play with the strongest squad so players like Adebayor will miss this match.

The only thing I hope for is that we give the maximum of ourselves........the audience will also be there to support us and give us the additional boost of confidence, so a maximum approach is needed.

:be: Standard Liege - :hr: Rijeka 2:0 So unfairly annuled goal for Rijeka, two stupid received goals, Krstanović who screwed all his chances tonight... I've never been pissed so much, maybe when Nishimura forgot to expell Neymar and when he gave a unjustified penalty to Brazil.

UEFA Europa League, Group stage:

:ro: Steaua Bucharest - Aalborg :dk: 6 - 0
The match was harder than the result shows. In the first half we played awful and if Aalborg would've had 4 - 0 at half-time no one would've been surprised. We woke up in the 2nd half and we scored our firts goal, then the Danish goalkeeper made a foolish mistake leading to his elimination and from then it was easy.

:hr: Dinamo Zagreb - Astra Giurgiu :ro: 5 - 1
I think it was due to the lack of experience that Astra has in European competitions. I am sure they will recover themselves and win some points in the next matches.

Fantastic result against one of the best teams in the Premier League! This was the match for the pride. Our best European match in the last 6 years at least. We outplayed Tottenham, and we can even regret that we didn't win. But since we missed some of our best players, this was the maximum we could get.

We didn't play well only in the first 15 minutes, and that is when Tottenham had the best chance to score via Kane (and the only chance on the whole match), but as time passed by, we were releasing ourselves from the pressure and started to be more and more dangerous for the goal of Tottenham. In the second half, Tottenham didn't exist on the field, and we were dominating the match. We were not defending at all, we were constantly pressuring them on their own half and in the middle. That is how Partizan should always play. 0 shots on the goal from Tottenham just shows what a great match we played.

In the end, we got our first point in Europa League and against the strongest rival in our group. Since :tr: Besiktas and :gr: Asteras also tied, this point becomes worthy even more. If we get a good result in Greece in the next match, than anything is open in this group, and we can hope that we can pass the group until the last match.

I support Aston Villa and you can be the scout for Helenius. I hear he suffered pretty badly here, with death thoughts and all. He has a special talent but showed little of it at his time here. Understandable with his personal issues and life. Really hopes he has a good season in DK then comes back to Villa re-energised and with a point to prove.

Today:

:gr: Asteras Tripolis - :rs: Partizan

An ideal chance to score points. Especially after that great point we took from :en: Tottenham. We are a better team, but Asteras is not a squad that is to be underestimated. They've had a great season and they play great in front of their supporters, so we will have a tough task to stay unbeaten today.

Still, we didn't lose a single match this year, and we can hope to continue that line against the Greek team as well.

He had a good game against Rio Ave tonight (scoring the winning goal). He still seems a bit out of shape, but it's getting better with every game.

Do you fully know the problems he had?

I'm almost certain the transfer back to Aalborg, was due to the lack of playing time. That was the story the DK press gave as a reason, at least. Plus the fact that his girlfriend was pregnant at the time, and both her and Nicklas wanted to return to Aalborg where they have a lot of friends.

The reason for the lack of game time was he suffered depression and got addicted to sleeping pills, and suffered a stomach problem so bad he thought he had cancer. So he didn't play much here. Think he wanted to return to Aalborg for the reasons you said and also how he felt safer in that environment, he often said how he felt so lonely here. I feel for him.

Wow, that's horrible - and certainly news to me. Didn't even realise he had an addiction... 0.o

Addiction because the pain caused him to struggle to sleep, he got help and stopped taking the pills. If you search on the internet there is an article about it in the Danish press and UK press.

I'm very happy about the Malmö victory yesterday evening, especially for good old Markus Rosenberg :D
After his successless years in England, I thought he's already past his peak. But it seems like he is exploding in Malmö. Always if I take a look on the score sheet of Malmö matches, Rosenberg has score nearly all goals.. it's like Rosenberg is the only Malmö player... and now he desmonstrates his class also in the CL group stage
When he played for my favourite club he was one of my favourite strikers.. always sympathic, modest, and made some important goals. I never forget his goal against Sampdoria Genoa in the CL play-offs 2010 in the 92nd Minute, which brought us to the extra trime in which we managed to win and reach the group stage

:sc:Celtic 1-0 Dinamo Zagreb:hr:. Great goal by Commons and a master-class display by Craig Gordon makes me happy. 4 points from their 2 hardest matches means Celtic look nailed on to make it to the knockout stages.

We played awfull, but I still think we will qualify! 4 points in the double against Rio Ave are a must!

:ro: Astra Giurgiu - FC Salzburg :at: 1 - 2
Astra had a good 15 minutes in the begining, but after that they just couldn't do anything on the field.
