The Champions League groups of our German teams are quite difficult. But I think, they can make it.

Today´s Europa League matches:

:de: Schalke 04 vs. HJK Helsinki :fi: 6:1
Schalke lost the first match, so they had to win quite high. But Helsinki also quite well the fist minutes today and even scored a goal. Schalke was the better team today and deserved to win.

:es: FC Sevilla vs. Hannover 96 :de: 1:1
What a surprise! Hannover 96 is in the next round of UEFA Europa League. Sevilla was the clear favorite, but after they lost the 1st match, they didn´t make to win today´s 2nd match.

Hm, I like our group. It will be really attractive when Real comes to Maksimir indeed:)
I really don't want to predict what will happen and how Dinamo will handle that rivals but hey - there are NO easy opponents!

GO DINAMO!:)

Group J
:de: Schalke 04
:ro: Steaua Bucharest
:il: Maccabi Haifa
:cy: AEK Larnaca

I love this group! We are sure qualifiers from here! :D

As for the others:

Group C
:nl: PSV Eindhoven
:il: Hapoel Tel Aviv
:ro: Rapid Bucharest
:pl: Legia Warsaw

I think that Rapid have a chance to! I will definetly go to Rapid - PSV

Group D
:pt: Sporting
:it: Lazio
:ch: FC Zurich
:ro: SC Vaslui

They have 0 % chances but they will make money! To bad that SC Vaslui will play in Piatra Neamt and not in Bucharest! :((

Group A:
:en: Tottenham
:ru: Rubin Kazan
:gr: PAOK
:ie: Shamrock Rovers

The "derby" between Rovers and Spurs will be moved to the Aviva Stadium (where last season's final was played) to accommodate more fans.

Group B:

:dk: FC Copenhagen
:be: Standard Liege
:de: Hannover 96
:ua: Vorskla Poltava

Not too bad. I predict Hannover is gonna win the group while the 2nd-place will probably be an even fight between us and Liege. I dunno much about Vorskla, but Eastern European team are per se always difficult to play against so I expect nothing easy.

When I have money on my account again in a few days I will seriously consider going on one of the away-trips with the fanclub, depending on how expensive it will be. Right now I'm seriously considering a trip to Ukraine. :p

Several days have passed, but I have to congratulate Shamrock Rovers on their qualification, they deserved it. They played against a stronger opponent, but they have shown something that Partizan didn't - heart. While this is surely the biggest moment for Shamrock and the Irish soccer this is the biggest debacle IN THE HISTORY of Partizan. We were eliminated by Flamurtari, Petah Tikva, and similar teams in the past, but this is I think the biggest debacle of our team, but like I said, Shamrock deserved to pass.

Of course, I am pretty disappointed as a fan of Partizan, and I totally lost the motivation to watch our local matches after this match, but we have to go on.......although the thieves in our management will have to get a "boot" after this defeat.

Hopefully, we will have more luck and knowledge to do something in Europe next season.

Also, I have to point out that all Serbian teams suffered a debacle in the European matches this season (Partizan got knocked out by Shamrock Rovers, Vojvodina by Vaduz some months earlier, and Zvezda was smashed heavily with 6-1 after two matches by Rennais) In the couple of seasons only Partizan used to play in the group phase of Champions League or Europa League, but now we finished our European journey in the "season of bath" as we to say here as well

Crvena Zvezda suffered a petard in France, as they lost from Stade Rennais with 4:0, so :rs: will have no teams in either the CL or Europa League this season.

there was clearly something wrong with that grass:eek:

I don't know what the gardeners did but if i was the club/ stadium owner they would be serious consequences over theirs jobs!

Seriously the stadium was great, the supporters were great but the football pitch ruined the match:mad:

If they knew it was like this, they should have told the romanian federation to play the french game somewhere else!

It looked so bad after the game that i don't know what they can do other than replace entirely the grass, we had the same situation in Lille and mind you it was no as bad as that one.Still we had to replace it and it was a 100 000 investment! and it needed a lof ot sun and no match for a few weeks to be okay!

We almost loose some precious points for the title because of that! i hope for steaua fans they will find a solution rapidly, because if they don't there is no way they could play theirs match and the EUROPA LEAGUE final in that stadium now

The stadium is the proprety of the municipality of Bucharest. The company that took care of the grass, offered to change it for free and they say it will be finished in two weeks, because that's the time of the UCL match betwen Otelul Galati and Benfica, and if it won't be finished then the match will be moved in :at:.
Steaua will play on National Arena the matches with AEK Larnaca and Maccabi Haifa, but the one with Shalke is the mosat important :(( UEFA agreed to let us play on Dinamo stadium in Bucharest but some stupid people don't want to leave rivalaries behind and play on the rivals pitch and prefer to travel 600 kilometers across the country....

Real Madrid 1 - 0 Dinamo Zagreb.

Yes, Dinamo suffered the defeat, but some things that they showed (godamn, the 55th minute and Rukavina's attempt, the ball almost finished in the Real's net :(... aaargh)....I think guys were splendid! But it was Real Madrid in the other side, who won the CL 9 TIMES, and this is the 3rd time that Dinamo is in CL. Kelava was brilliant (our goalkeeper), if there was not him on the goal...who knows how it would finish! But I reckon, this was REAL! So, I believe that Dinamo will make some new ideas for the next matches (Lyon, Ajax) and that Dinamo will reach some points against them, if only they will continue playing on the level like this. Go DINAMO!:)

Dinamo was great tonight, well done. I didn't watch the whole match as I was watching basketball, but to lose 0-1 from Real with a great game is surely not bad. Dinamo has a great management who thinks about a team, and not just to sell players and get money like in my Partizan ( :( ). If you continue like this you won't have 0 points in the end, that is sure.

And the thought of Inter selling their players, and giving Pandev to Napoli, surely paid off for them. Well done Trabzonspor!! :D Surprises are there happen, pity Dinamo didn't win. However, if they keep the motivation high as against Real, they could win against Ajax for sure and against Lyon (why wouldn't they, they almost had Real). :)

^^ Those teams are not in Trabzon's group :?

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo says Dinamo Zagreb fans are 'jealous' of him after receiving jeers from the local supporters in his side's 1-0 win in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

"It's surely because I'm good-looking, rich and a great soccer player. They're jealous of me. I don't have any other explanation" xrofl3
