I wonder if there is a little chance that they would pick Seher Ahmetzade...

No offense but I've never really liked your songs :? Except the one from 2008...

So, I don't generally like Spanish entries so I don't want them to participate. What kind of logic is that? it's obvious that you have a problem with Turkey herself rather than her entries.

NOTE: Spain was just a random example.

it's also the attitude of TRT against the EBU and the contest. they decide to withdraw because they are unhappy with the rules. come on, why ? every year you guys get a nice result but suddenly, TRT thinks the contest is bullsh.it so "bye bye eurovision" xshrug if they act that way, then yes : they can stay where they are. it's not against you people ;)

Italy had protested the EBU by not participating for years. I doubt your attitude toward them was like that as well.

Well, whatever goverment does, shouldn't be cost to public. I don't think TRT asked for anything to public with a poll or something like that.

maybe because Italy withdrew in 1998 when I didn't give a damn about the contest and so I was not aware of their participation xshrug

but also, RAI didn't protest against the EBU, they just didn't care anymore about the contest and the TV shares were low at the time so they quit

I know in Turkey ESC has a great popularity, so it's not exactly the same situation :?

I was not talking about the turkish government :? But I don't know if TRT belongs to it or not - is it a public or a private channel ?

TRT is state channel as you can see "Turkish Radio Television".

It's a public channel fed by the taxes of me and many people who did not vote for the current government but functions as a propaganda organ of the ruling party...

Well, doubt it...

If rumors are true about the actual reasons behind the withdrawal aswell as the non-female acts from Turkey since 2008, then that's the most unlikely scenario.

Unfortunately I think Turkey won't enter next year either :(

I hate TRT's attitude though, but it's unfair to the Turkish fans nevertheless.
