YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Gold medal for our ski jumpers !!!!
After the unluck we had in the individual competitions, especially Severin Freund, it's a very big relief and happiness! Such a young team, but they keep their nerves!
What a thrilling fight against our big rival Austria
8th golden medal, so we stabilize our first rank in medal table

Congrats Germany! I was rooting for you, when I saw that we won't get any medal today. Great job! xcheer

I'm so proud of our ski jumpers, even though they were fifth today. But hey, this is also a great result! I think we can also be very proud of Robert Kranjec. This are probably his last games and he didn't want to dissapoint his team despite his knee injury. I must say that I'm very happy for Peter Prevc and his 2 medals :D When I first saw him I said that he'll become very good in ski jumping. And I'm so delighted that I was right! :D

Despite I'm not such a fan of Austrian ski jumping team (I just can't stand Pointner and Schlierenzauer, sorry), I must mention Thomas Morgenstern here. He's one of my favourite ski jumpers and also my favourite one from Austrian team. A month ago he couldn't even breathe by himself and look at him now! He truly is a fighter :)

Well, at this point I doubt, that we'll get any more medals on this games. The whole Slovenia is proud on our athletes. Can't wait for them to return home. I'm sure there's going to be a huge reception for all of them :)

the moment when :by: is higher then :ca: in medal rank xrofl2

And :by: has the same amount of golds as

Norway got another medal today, in biathlon. Tora Berger was our big hope, but she fell after 1 km, and never really recovered from that. But fortunately, we got a nice surprise, as Tiril Eckhoff surprised everybody (including herself), and got a bronze. :D

Now we're looking forward to biathlon, cross-country skiing (and hopefully the ski problems have been solved), boardercross, curling (I think we almost got elimininated today), and an extremely tough hockey match against Russia. I read that if we beat Russia in hockey, the rest of the Olympics will be cancelled.

Updated (5th in the table now):
5 Gold (Kjetil Jansrud, Maiken Caspersen Falla, Marit Bjørgen, Ola Vigen Hattestad, Ole Einar Bjørndalen)
3 Silver (Ingvild Flugstad Østberg, Ståle Sandbech, Tora Berger)
7 Bronze (Anders Bardal, Heidi Weng, Kjetil Jansrud, Magnus Krog, Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Therese Johaug, Tiril Eckhoff)

No worries, we've got lots more chances left - there's still women's bobsled (Kaillie and Heather are the defending champions and they've been cleaning up), guaranteed at least a silver in women's hockey, curling, ski halfpipe (we've got some contenders there) and of course men's hockey

@Trece    The camera men did their job very well :D

The medal table is very tight... so many countries with 5 golden medals. I'm curious which countries will stand out in the remaining days

It's so sad that a winter sports nation like Finland is without any gold medal since 2002 :?
barely 2 medals up to now...
Italy disappointing as well, no gold medal.

I just realised something :D

Our president Borut Pahor promised, that for every goal that our hockey team will get on this games, he will skate on ice for an hour. I would really like to see him skating for 10 hours (and maybe even more)
