Thanks.
I didn't know Tina was an artist, I'll have to check out her music.
Netherlands have been insane in the speed skating. 16 of 24 medals so far, and 3 events with only Dutch skaters on the podium. Amazing. And they can still get more.
I was really looking forward to the boardercross, and altho I tend to like seeing people crash, it's never fun to see people get so badly injured. Unfortunately, it happened to both Helene Olafsen of Norway, and Jacqueline Hernandez of USA. Helene have previously had a severe knee injury, and today she ruined her knee AGAIN. I hope she'll recover from this, as she's had similar injuries before, and she's a fighter, but it's gonna take time. I dunno how Jacqueline is recovering, but she was knocked unconscious when she crashed, which looked REALLY bad. Good to see that she woke up tho, and I hope she'll be ok. Also, very sad for Lindsey Jacobellis, the Olympic curse keeps stalking her.
I'm sad the skeleton events are done, but fortunately there's still a bit of bob left, which are 2 of the sports I've been looking forward to the most in the Olympics. Unfortunately, the Norwegian broadcaster isn't giving it a lot of attention, because there are no Norwegian athletes there. I still love the sport tho.
The last couple of days haven't been great for Norway, as usual, we expected lots of medals, especially in cross-country skiing, but we failed on both the relay events. Apparently, the warm weather has been causing problems for the people responsible for the skis. Therese Johaug did get a bronze tho a few days ago.
The best news was early today. Men's Super-G have been a good Norwegian sport over the years, and as with the downhill, "everyone" was expecting Aksel Lund Svindal to win. He was a few 10th of a second too slow tho, but we still got the gold medal. Kjetil Jansrud, who got badly injured in March last year, have fought his way back to the top, and today, all his hard practice have paid off (just like Dario Cologna of Switzerland). Amazing, and I'm really happy for him.
Updated (3rd in the table again, but we've been down to 8th since my last update):
5 Gold (Kjetil Jansrud, Maiken Caspersen Falla, Marit Bjørgen, Ola Vigen Hattestad, Ole Einar Bjørndalen)
3 Silver (Ingvild Flugstad Østberg, Ståle Sandbech, Tora Berger)
6 Bronze (Anders Bardal, Heidi Weng, Kjetil Jansrud, Magnus Krog, Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Therese Johaug)
