I don't want to destroy your hope, but Ivo didn't the slalom competitions this season very well. There are many others, being the favourites for gold, although there were many surprises at alpine skiing at these olympics, like today with Sandro Villeta from Switzerland going for Gold. xcheers
And maybe Felix Neureuther is out of race, because he had an accident on his way to the airport today and is still waiting for the results from his examination. xshock

Congrats Ivica, should've been gold but silver is amazing! :D I overslept the whole race so I have no idea how it looked. :'(

He also finished out of the top 20 in only super-combined race he took part in this season, yet he won silver. I can't believe I agree with Vatroslav, but he may be right. :D

Congrats to Croatia and Ivica :D he must be a hero there, since Croatia actually isn't a wintersport nation. Unfortunately I missed the race :(

Today there are no realistic medal chances for Germany, but nonetheless there are some exciting competitions like womens Biathlon

Lol well the UK is doing 1 medal better than 2010 already. We currently have 2 medals... xrofl3 we haven't had 2 medals since 2002. We nearly had 3, but the person was disqualified.

My country is doing pretty good so far. First medal (a bronze) in women's singles luge, golds in snowboarding and freestyle skiing, and just today, a silver in women's skeleton via Noelle Pikus-Pace.

Men figure skating was bad today, even Gold-Silver prizers skated with mistakes and downs, its not level of Olympics imo, only :kz: athlete had clear program today and won bronze even after yesterday he had 7th place in Short Program

3rd gold medal for Poland!!! After Kamil Stoch in men's normal hill ski jumping, and Justyna Kowalczyk in 10km cross-country skiing, now it's Zbigniew Bródka in men's 1500-meter speedskating! xcheersxcheerxcheerxcheer

OMG, Kamil Stoch is going for 2nd gold medal in ski jumping. He is right now leading after the first round! xshock OMG, please, Kamil!
If he gets it.... it will be something huge! I mean, our best ski jumper who finished his career, Adam Małysz, doesn't have even ONE gold medal.

EDIT: MAMY CZWARTY ZŁOTY MEDAL : KAMIL STOCH!!! xcheerxcheerxcheerxyaayxyaayxyaayxyaaayxyaaayxyaaay
WE HAVE 4TH GOLD MEDAL!!! KAMIL STOCH!!!

Congrats for Prevc! :D

I'm soooo happy for Stoch! I'm also curious what Małysz is thinking about right now ;)

once again Freund failed when it came to the point :(
only 4th place!
as a consolation, I require a golden medal in the team competition. I think this is realistic for us, but it would be good to sort Freitag out (very bad form) and replace him through Wank
The Austrian jumpers are in bad condition, really disappointing. Norway has a mediocre team, there is missing quality.
Slovenia, Poland are one of our biggest rivals for the medal ranks, but as a team they are not considerably better.
Japan could become the big surprise and could win the gold medal. All 4 jumpers are quite strong atm. Kasai is such a incredible person. He is 41 years old and still world-class. I respect him soo much

I am looking forward to figure skating tomorrow and on Monday. Deividas and Isabella are finally performing! Hope for the best!

But I am still happy for all of our athletes. It doesn't matter we they haven't won any medals but they are still doing better than anyone ever expected. :]
