Probably indeed. Sieneke was something special. Doesn't mean I liked it. I think that there is still a day to wait and see where this is heading. Especially for the people who are reacting that this is lets them cold. It's a music video. Somehow that never gives me that feeling. I'm waiting for the live listening now

The Toppers were way worse. Not even close. Sieneke was the best option in her NF (somehow? yeah I know :?), things certainly could've been worse.

Now, "Arcade". I really like the song. It's very well-made and makes you think. I got goosebumps on the first listen and well, the body doesn't lie. The best part however, is Duncan's voice, not the melody itself. I agree with Rainy on the composition: There are parts of "Arcade" which are brilliant, but it's lacking in other areas for me. It sort of remains the same throughout, and unlike with Sebi, here it actually doesn't make sense. I have to disagree that this wins though. I currently have it pegged as non-winning top 10 (roughly between 4th and 10th place).

I really enjoyed this! I haven't heard what he's like live but if his voice if great and the staging works this could end up like Beautiful Mess.... which didn't win obvs lol because I don't think this is winning but I reckon this can and will do really well.

Yeah, this feels to me like the quintessential song that becomes a favourite in the odds and ends up finishing second on the night. You know the type - perfectly manufactured, nothing much to criticise, easy jury-bait, but just missing that special something. A Million Voices, Sound of Silence, Beautiful Mess and so on.
