He's gay? Google is being very unhelpful at confirming that fact.
How dare to say to the Netherlands spokerperson "I want to f*ck you" ? :twisted:tw:isted:
I was so angry and irritated. That was the most stupid think I heard in ESC :mad::mad::mad:

Yes it was rude and unnecessary. If he has a boyfriend it doesn't really make sense either.

Eurovision was by far the most popular TV show last week in Estonia:
1. The Final - 351 000 viewers
2. Second semi-final - 291 000 viewers
3. Recap of most successful Estonian Eurovision performances (shown before the final) - 226 000 viewers
...
8. First semi-final - 182 000 viewers

In Ukraine it had the 2nd worst rating ever but it's easily explained by having another 2 events happening in the same time :D -----> the "Maidan's" final on the most popular comemrcial channel AND "Shakhtar" FC birthday party on Donbass Arena with Rihanna and Mila Jovovich, broadcasted live.

ESC was watched by 6 - 6.5 million people.

To Jedward, not getting nul points is a great success!  I must say, they face a lot of criticism but they have always been admirable and were incredibly gracious when they were voted off The X Factor and now it seems they are with Eurovision too :D. Im so happy that they got in the Top 10, they really deserved it and as I said right at the beginning when everyone were haters, you'll cant help but end up loving them in the end  .

I 'hated' them when they were chosen, during the semifinal, during the final, but when the last recap came. I was singing "She’s got her lipstick on"... damn, it's like a virus :lol:

What you say about taste is another discussion. What I said above and FallenAngelII commented on it, has to do with the fact that although other countries exchange votes on a constant basis (which definitely becomes predictable), we and Cyprus are the only ones that get booed. The "taste" argument doesn't apply to us? I don't see any difference to what other countries that participate in blocks do. So, why only Greece/Cyrpus get booed? Why this discrimination?

Very well said!

Loukas gave a great performance. Says a lot about the audience that they actually booed at all....never mind their selective booing!

Well done Greece! Brilliant performance !

I hated that greek song for ages, only when they performed it in the semi did it get my attention.... It was a good song, different to what greece usually offers, so it was risky..... But still did well and one of the best performances in the final.

Just compare the winner couple with Aysel & Arash or with Paula & Ovi. The winners are far away to be better than these two. The song is not bad, but is like from 2001, not 2011. The voices, especially her voice is not something special. The imagine was good, the lights and the stage were very good. My final rank for Saturday:

1 - Sweden
2 - Italy
3 - Ukraine
4 - Slovenia
5 - Moldova
6 - Germany
7 - Austria
8 - Georgia
9 - Iceland
10 - Ireland
11 - Azerbaijan
12 - France
13 - Serbia
14 - Lithuania
15 - Greece
16 - Romania
17 - Bosnia & Herzegovina
18 - Finland
19 - UK
20 - Russia
21 - Spain
22 - Denmark
23 - Switzerland
24 - Hungary
25 - Estonia

That was epic  I heard it

I finally decided on my ESC 2011 list

1 Estonia
2 Greece
3 Lithuania
4 France
5 Azerbaijan
6 Ukraine
7 Moldova
8 Serbia
9 Bosnia and Herzegovina
10 Italy
11 Iceland
12 Austria
13 Finland
14 Switzerland
15 Spain
16 United Kingdom
17 Hungary
18 Slovenia
19 Russia
20 Georgia
21 Sweden
22 Denmark
23 Romania
24 Ireland
25 Germany

Completely different than the results, I'm not surprised since it's the same thing every year. I only watch ESC to hear the songs, from next year on I'll turn off the TV after the last song has been performed, don't care about the crappy voting anymore.

It could have been 2nd on my rank, but I put it first because is more similar with a traditional ESC winner, winners that made me to love Eurovision. And he has a better voice than Azerbaijan voices. Azerbaijan had an easy song to sing and was not good vocals while Eric had the best show, he was dancing on an uptempo song and not easy to sing a song like Popular. He was better than I expected and much btter than the winners who just were lucky that Turkey was not finalist.

I have a question? Do you know when we'll have the results from the jury? (jury/televote split) ??

I checked the history of edits on the wikipedia page for the 2010 contest and they weren't added until late June. :?

Whether it actually took that long for the split votes to be revealed themselves I'm not sure
