Nadine Beiler (Austria) claims the ESC is manipulated:

Insider berichten schon länger von Absprachen im Vorfeld. So wurden Österreich in Düsseldorf und bereits bei der Auftaktshow in Kiew von mehreren Ländern hohe Jurywertungen versprochen – gegen Geld. Und: Callcenter (vor allem im ehemaligen Ostblock) hätten für Telefonvotings engagiert werden können. Österreich lehnte ab – und bekam von den betreffenden Ländern null Punkte.

which means Austria was promised a high score of the juries in exchange of money and and call centers (especially in the former Eastern bloc) could have been committed for telephone voting. Austria refused - and got zero points from the countries concerned.

Either she's a bad loser or this is really really sad - much worse than block voting!

I am ashamed of people who gave Hungary 22nd place!
She had zero stage presence. And she barely moved during a dance song. A great song ruined by a shoddy stage performance (not necessarily bad vocals).

@ AlekS

What you say about taste is another discussion. What I said above and FallenAngelII commented on it, has to do with the fact that although other countries exchange votes on a constant basis (which definitely becomes predictable), we and Cyprus are the only ones that get booed. The "taste" argument doesn't apply to us? I don't see any difference to what other countries that participate in blocks do. So, why only Greece/Cyrpus get booed? Why this discrimination?
I'm wondering why should everyone be booed at all for having their taste? ;)
It's not another discussion. It's about having respect to people's taste. If people say that being predictable is bad they boo someone's taste. Then those people should call a psychiatrist xshrug Asap.

FAIL.

All ESC call opeartors are managed by 1 European company. In Ukraine it doesn't interact with the broadcaster even during the voting. Televoting and jury results are being sent to EBU separately. The broadcaster finds out about televoting result from EBU in a few minutes before the results announcement.
As for jury's voting. Probably the UK, Sweden and France paid more
Say hi to the BBC xrollinglol

anyway, Austrian press goes xenophobic ... again.
This is also awesome how Nadine was REALLY friendly with Mika and NTU officials after the semi. I saw that myself. So that article is just an ordinary made up bullcrap.
It will be funny if our jury indeed gave her points.

I apologize to all I am about to offend....

I can't belive that more then half of Europe have such a disasterous taste in music. I don't see where is the quality of music in any of the top 5 songs apart from Italy. I almost fell asleep while listening to Azerbaijan song and had to realy hold back not to throw up to Sweden preformance....
I know that most of the votes are political but cmon...why would masses of French people vote for spanish song....are you f... kidding me... If I would have heard that song in the only bar on a small latin island I would had ran out for my life. Not to mention that there are also juries....are they all just over 16 and half deaf?!?

I wouldn't have been so disapointed if there was nothing to choose from...

I'm even more surprised that not a lot of people even share my agony...or maybe it is just me.

Italy were crap! It was the De Niro and Juries which helped secure a good place. Yes they must have recieved good votes to get so high but I believe he too was out of tune and some of the instruments were awful. IMO!!

So... which entries did you like? Seeing as how you hate out-of-tunedness and "awful instrumentalization", I expect your answer to be "Lithuania and Austria" (and certainly not "The U.K.").

To Jedward, not getting nul points is a great success!  I must say, they face a lot of criticism but they have always been admirable and were incredibly gracious when they were voted off The X Factor and now it seems they are with Eurovision too :D. Im so happy that they got in the Top 10, they really deserved it and as I said right at the beginning when everyone were haters, you'll cant help but end up loving them in the end  .

Norway voted for all 4 Nordics, probably because they were the only ones left out and in February, they were the pre-contest favourites. And with respect to Cyprus and Greece, well Greece had a Cypriot singer. It shouldn't be much of a surprise + the song was on Greek.
So yeah, everyone should be booed, even UK for giving their 12 to Jedward.
