Watching Melanie Wehbe‘s performance for the 3rd time. HER performance captivated me not Loreen‘s which left me totally cold.
Melanie (also Mariette) spread so much joy on stage, so awesome!!! She looks so beautiful smiling.
If Melanie was gonna win (not that it would happen but anyway) Sweden would get my 12 this year.

I don’t know why you’re all suddenly complaining about the UK when we would have been celebrating coming 3rd or 5th or whatever.

I’m still not wowed by Loreen’s song or the panini staging but Eurofans have already decided she’s won.
Have Eurovision fans always been butthurt this way about others having a favorite? Boo hoo people don't agree with me

It’s hard to grasp the lyrics but I think I finally got it. She prays for the stars to align to bring her relevancy back, which she wears as a tattoo.

You are reaching troll levels and it's embarassing. You'll probably live til you're 110 because you seem like the type of person just fueled by hate. Loreen will always be relevant, I have multiple friends who don't watch Melfest and yet they shine up a little when Loreen/Euphoria is the subject

I honestly think Loreen will win both the juries and the televote. The hype around her is crazy and that performance is honestly on another level. I wouldn't mind Marcus and Martinus ("Air" is massively addicting), and they probably have the 12 points from the two lower groups on lock, but I'm not buying them doing that well with the older groups and I still question Swedes voting for a Norwegian act to represent them at Eurovision. Maria feels like old news and girl's hype doesn't seem to be anywhere near Tusse or Anders. Honestly, at this point, would be surprised if anyone other than Loreen won.

I liked Cornelia Jacobs 2022 more than Loreen 2023. Jacobs was my top favourite in Eurovision.

Loreen's song is good, and the staging is interesting. I'm a bit concerned that I'll get tired of the "opera element" in the "you" in the chorus. But it's definitely the best Melfest entry.

In all honesty and I do not like that about myself but all the hosanna hosanna about Loreen is getting on my nerves

Yes, Loreen is a really good performer, a good vocalist, Tattoo is catchy and well produced, it is staged amazingly. A good package deal and for sure in it to win it.
However, the song is in my opinion nothing ground breaking or (if performed by another artist) 100% winner material. There's absolutely no need to grant her goddess status and deny anyone the possibility to compare her to other great vocalists (like in the Finland thread where someone even dared to compare Loreen to Destiny!!!!!!!)
Euphoria is an iconic Eurovision classic, well known outside far beyond the bubble, and Loreen is a great performer, for sure but gosh

Semi 2:

Semi 3:

Semi 4:

Andr...."Semifinal":

The Final

+1

However, if this victory gives her another chance at going mainstream worldwide, I am here for it.

Oh come on, dont do that. You like Air, ok, but M&M fans are getting ridiculously bitter. Loreen is a great artist, and the relevancy joke sounds silly at this particular moment, when shes having double the views than all the other MF finalists combined, she took Ukraine down in the bets ( no one managed this in 2 years ), shes everywhere in the press and on tv all around europe. Ive seen articles about her on greek sites and they even had her on the greek tv news. We dont know what will happen yet, she hasnt won MF yet. But the tattoo project is becoming a hit, and it is relevant, either you enjoy it or not.

I like Melanie's song actually, one of like the 2 others on the whole MF line-up, besides Loreen, that I liked.
But her being all smiley actually doesn't make any sense whatsoever when you listen to the lyrics of the song and with the whole vibe and atmosphere of the song and the staging, it kinda threw me off a bit when watching her performance

I did understand the lyrics as „fake a smile on the outside“ so the smile‘s supposed to be tragic and desperate but at the same time she "fakes" it so beautifully and the bright smile looks so good on her. I like her simple but so strong performance a lot. She spreads that joy we all should have for real instead of faking and ironically it looks so real.

The only bad thing I have to say about Loreen is that it’s hard to understand what she sings sometimes. I had the same problem with Euphoria too

Other than that, this is my clear number 1 this year. It MUST go to Liverpool. Someone create the narrative in Swedish media that you do not want Norwegians to represent you in Eurovision!!

Loreen's odds are now at 1.15 / 70% chance of winning.

My gut feeling says there is absolutely no way she won't win this one, she is objectively so far ahead everyone including M&M. Also: I will be a delusional stan for Loreen, she is my one and only idol

Seeing people hyping Tattoo is actually more entertaining than the Melfest itself, just as funny as Sunhe and Angelica sharing bath water.
