We still have to hear some songs and who knows, maybe a country has a surprise left. Right now I think it will be between Sweden (with Loreen) and Finland. In my dreams Czechia would also be a potential winner but I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe their performance can elevate it enough. The nordic countries (- Denmark) are slaying this year. I think a Top 3 with only nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway) is possible right now. That would be cool.

By now, the only threat to those three nordic countries is Ukraine (but 17 countries are missing so we'll see).
I agree with you though, last year I had no winning vibes by all the entries (and maybe this is why I didn't complain about Ukraine winning), but this year I had two with Loreen and Kaarija (again, with 17 countries missing).
Alessandra could pull a Chanel, it depends on how many female dancepop songs we will have; if Queen of the Kings will be the only one, I can see Alessandra top 5 at least.

every time Sweden won, they changed something for the worse.

2013 the effed ranking, intransparent until today, producer decide the running order, because Sweden felt defeated in 2011, then they melodifestivalized the voting system in 2016 and the director job was handed from Norway to Sweden for the gratitude of it all.

You can think what you what about entries that's the beauty of music its subjective however as soon as you try and claim things like Sweden's performance is improved by the nationality of the EBU executive supervisor you are going to seem like a tinfoil hat clad conspiracy theorist

Yep I think it was a mixture of not being entirely sober, living the moment and vocal damage.
A lot of times her singing sounds very unhealthy, like it hurts her throat. And she completely lost control over her voice in the clip.

We are not allowed not to be impressed by Loreen and express that in the posts?
I hoped the situation is better here, for exampe on OGAE Serbia forum im attacked few times cause of that... this is getting ridiculous...

Fans of the croatian entry have written rape and death threats to several content creators (one of them a mother who is still grieving for her dead daughter) because they disliked the song. Haven't heard that from Loreen fans yet.
Feel free to say you dislike the song, it's your opinion you're entitled to it.

Tusse had a bad Running Order being between the big Fanfavourite San Marino and the Winner Italy.

They performed in one of the sweetest slots, decided by the producers with their worst entry ever. This song should have performed 15th and not 25th.
in the semi the juries put Voices higher than Discotheque and almost as high as Shum. This irrelevant song is massively overrated and 14th place not a fair evaluation.
