UK wouldnt have won without the war to be frank im still confused as to why we did as well as we did but your second point is funny to me, yes with the juries that were proven to have engaged in corruption Slo Mo would have won the jury but why do you want corrupt juries points to be kept

So I am here one day later and people are still whining over that Loreen didn't send a new Euphoria and because of that Tattoo is unworthy?

Like I still don't get the point of comparing years like that. Is there really anything better in this year's MF?

M&M = Your generic MF young male Pop song, but done worse than in previous years.

Maria Sur = Sounds like a jESC ballad, generic bland ESC ballad by the dosen. I feel for her back story but the song is really cliched.

Jon Henrik = Usually he has good entries but this one is a mess and it's barely a JH entry, just generic dated milked down EDM done in a bad way.

Smash = Your typical MF rock quota, milked down version of Linkin Park, way too vanilla and compromised to be any good. Oh did I use the word bland?

Literally Nordman is better than these lol, and that still wouldn't work.

I don’t think Air sounds that generic, it’s surprisingly fresh and original and my personal fave.

Tattoo is very generic and I don’t understand a single words except for you hoo hoo because Loren is singing with a hot potato in her mouth.

Tattoo is not as bad Voices and Hold me closer, which I hated so muc, that’s why it’s such a threat for the win. Sweden always gets a better result than they deserve, and with the juries, delegates from record companies, all of them tied to Swedish music industry, and Swedish takeover of EBU, a sweet running order, probably 12th or 24th, and the huge respect for Loreen, she is the default winner in a very boring season. She already won in an incredibly dull season.

so, Sweden again, and Slovenia, Czechia probably never, even with superior songs

I disagree, it would have been top 6 but it wouldn't have won. Would have gathered less support from the juries too.

Ukraine would have still won the televote, juries would have unfairly downgraded it though like they did Shum , maybe a top. 5 in total.

Anyways not sure why people discuss this in the Swedish thread (kinda lost track with all the comments) lol

Plus to be frank it's a kinda boring discussion by now, it's mostly run to discredit Ukraine's win. I don't see as many discussions about previous winners, some of whom never deserved to be even close to victory and some that were even bought lol.

TT and Nordman will steal the old people votes, while Theoz and Kiana the young vote. Mariette and Victor Crone will be getting the crumbs at both sides.

Ehm? I think people are allowed to think whatever they want? I just don't get the logic of comparing it to 2012, it makes little sense. It should be compared to the competition this year.

If people don't like the song or feel underwhelmed by it because they hold her to higher standards that's all right, but it's hard to take comments calling her a bad live singer and performer seriously though

In my dreams Czechia would also be a potential winner but I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe their performance can elevate it enough. The nordic countries (- Denmark) are slaying this year. I think a Top 3 with only nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway) is possible right now. That would be cool.
