This whole ''it's just because she's Ukrainian!'' thing is getting old. Swedes have always loved and consumed power ballads. Sarah Dawn Finer's Moving On was the most streamed song on the radio in Sweden in 2009 and it doesn't exactly have brilliant lyrics. General Swedish public are not as picky as the average Eurovision fans about things having to be so unique and new, and it's crazy to me so many Eurovision fans keep being surprised the general public doesn't have the same taste as them, a hardcore Eurovision fan. I'm not exactly defending the quality of the lyrics in the song but it gave me goosebumps because when she sings it sounds like a studio version, and it's dramatic.seriously what's the fuss with Maria Sur
i mean, are we all gonna pretend it wouldn't come maximum 5th if it was sung by Felicia Olssson or molly petersson hammar?
it feels like Melodifestivalen has entered middle-age crisis, Norway's MGP is the rising star of the decade
Oh look, a Serbian questioning the authenticity of a Ukrainian, never seen that before@A-lister
How are you satisfied with Maria Sur? it is freakin unbeliavable how the perfromance is so similar to Tusse Chiza - "Voices" even the way and time backings appear on the stage is almost the same. Love how Swedish audience "swallow" these "stories" and such songs..
WTF are you talking?Oh look, a Serbian questioning the authenticity of a Ukrainian, never seen that before
The whole MF so far is basic. The problem I have is with the song - which is, despite the fitting theme, quite basic.
Putting Ida-Lova behind the 90's dansband and the Canadian songwriter trying to sound like a millennial.Whats so funny @njdevils94?
Can't believe that for the first time Germany's NF is better than these songs!
I repeat myself gladly: NopeThe NDR would kill to have such a Lineup.
