Anna's vocals were almost impeccable. I believe she finished in 11th spot, which is very good with such a mediocre song.

Using my magical gay powers, I will now pull out of my balls... err... my crystal ball. I think she got, oh, 14th.

Hmm, it seems like quite a few people in the commentaries on aftonbladet.com would like to see Christer Björkman leave, can't say I blame them...
He should have left a long time ago! :evil:

Anna right before the last envelope :cry: :cry: Poor Anna!

Where do you get those videos from?! Are there videos for all non-qualifiers?

Well, I will say this (open letter to Anna, though she most probably won't get to read it): Anna, I do not blame you. It's not your fault the Swedish people voted you forth with such a shoddy song. You should pick your songs better next time, this song was not worthy to represent Sweden at the contest. You did your very best and I have nothing against you personally and your voice will eventually grow to become something I will like because you actually have talent unlike most of the Swedish Idol hacks (most of whom are "pretty boys" with no vocal talent) which go on to have long semi-successful careers.

Just... if you're going to compete in Melodifestivalen again, choose a better song. For the love of God, hire me as your scene manager and choreographer! Your entry was joke! Shoddy and stilted choreography, bad choices, especially when it came to the 13,500 SEK glowsticks which were lighted at the wrong point in time, it was a perfect storm of small mistakes which in no way contributed to help you in any way.

No really I'm not so good. I'm sorry for Anna....

@ 94ayd I don't know. I got this from some friends' blog. They were in Telenor Arena and they posted this a while ago in their blog.

Poor Anna. That video almost made me cry. I'm sure she was thinking "omg what it's waiting for me when i arrived in Sweden..."

Very sad. I wish I was there to give her a huge and tell her that she rocked :(

She shouldn't worry too I hope, most swedes need to look at themself and see that they are to blame for this.
As much as I honestly love the song, I do wish Salem would have won instead for some reason.

I'm from Sweden and I certainly do not blame Anna for this fail. I blame us - the people - ...and Christer Björkman. He really needs to go. I think his taste in music is getting too old for this competition and he probably doesn't understand what Europe wants, or else, he wouldn't have let 'This Is My Life' compete in the Melodifestivalen at all. Actually I don't think any of the songs would have worked any better, despite the many Swedish peoples complainants about how Salem would have been soooo amazing.
We seriously need new song writers, because obviously this isn't working.

Salem would've fought with Slovenia for the last time. No way Salem going to the final with that boring song and not Anna :lol:

Yes which is why I want both internation jury groups in the final and I also want them to get a group of say 20-30 or however many is needed to actually pick the entrants next year, swedes stay away!

How about a 3-way system:
* Televote
* International juries (6-12)
* National juries (6-12)

Each with the same amount of total points to deliver. Screw the people getting 50-50. The Swedish people clearly do not know what is going to do well at ESC.
