Anna was awesome, perfect. He did her best performance and I was totally touched.
I just dunno what Europe was thinking, but okay.....
I don't understand why now that you managed to send something really good and different fail this way :(

This was indeed no fair, but not worries, Anna was perfect. You couldn't do anything else ;)

GO SVERIGE!!!

I actually do feel that it was the shaky and rather unsteady vocal that she had at times that sunk her.
I real wish it would have been better, but what's done is done.

Especialy since the vocals were very steady tonight for almost all performers.

This has to be the biggest injustice of this year. Sweden above all deserved to qualify....obviously something is very wrong.

I know she did better in rehersal than tonight but I still think it was great: the song is lovely, her outfit is cool, I like the performance and they created such a nice atmosphere with the red lights in the audience. I can't believe she didn't qualify! And talking about jury, I can't believe they'd helped Hero and let this out.
Too bad, Sweden but I still love you!

  Damn! I'm not good! Anna was great tonight! She was very nervous but her voice was fine.
And I am extremely sad because for the first time after 52 years, Sweden won't be in the final!  So much for the record! :(

Thank you Anna for the great night! :)

Heartbroken by that result tonight. Feel very sorry for Anna and all her Swedish fans. It shows what a joke the ESC is that such a quality singer and song does not get through. Yet I am from the UK where our terrible entry gets automatic qualification and deserves nil point. It makes a mockery of the whole thing.
Ditto Croatia. No way are Cyprus, Georgia or Ireland better than Anna or Feminem. Absurd.

I told you so, I told you so, I told you so.

Who's the master of predicting how well Sweden will do? I am! Make a better selection next year, Sweden. Salem al Fakir would've at least gone through to the final!

I don't understand how so many of you are so shocked that Sweden didn't make it. I said it literally 5 seconds after Sweden had chosen Anna to be our representative: We will not make it to the final this year.

It had everything against it. It's one of out a bajillion ballads this year and it's not even among the Top 5 of those ballads. Her voice sounds frail, like she's about to break at times, she's too young and inexperienced to sing a song like that and her "stage show" is a joke. Fake playing the guitar while swaying = never works.

The fact that almost every single ballad in semi final 1 didn't make it was another clear indicator. Sweden not making it came as no surprise to me. I would've been surprised if we had made it.

And please, I don't want anyone to blame Anna. It's not her fault!

Would have walked it in a weak semi final 1, but too many good performances tonight. Song wasn't performed well, shaky vocals and no stage presence. The song itself was nice but nothing special and other ballads are better. Compared to Ukraine (which wasn't expected to qualify but was immense) it came a poor second.

A shame, though, as some garbage qualified from SF1 and good ones went out tonight. I was gutted Croatia went out as really liked it.

Sorry sweden but i have to agree with FallenAngel. I am not surprised this didn't qualify. Anna did the best she could with this mediocre song so I don't blame her. But it was just not really the best choice you made. I didn't predict sweden to make the cut and turned out i was right. it's just weird not having sweden in the finals.
And to the swedish press: be kind to anna, she did fine.

I don't blame her, I blame us the people.
We voted her forward after all and I blame the songs we get served as well...

Hmm, it seems like quite a few people in the commentaries on aftonbladet.com would like to see Christer Björkman leave, can't say I blame them...
